The natural path to manifest any creation is to follow the feeling of the flow of energy giving rise to that creation. The creativity perspective on the purpose of any ritual is two fold. One is to create the seed condition for what we desire to manifest. The other is to create an energized memory to continually catalyze our creative endeavor. Both of these purposes involve feeling and our ability to feel.

The seed condition is about accessing a feeling and understanding about what we need to do in life that guides our actions in life. Our life does not change immediately. Rather a seed condition is created that will grow and unfold in our life if properly nourished. We nourish the seed which is unfolding by choosing to make our decisions in life in favor of, or in the direction of, the feeling and understanding we access about our life.  The process works more at the subtle energy level than at a more profound dramatic visible way.  In time, we find we recreate our life to be able to manifest what we desire

The emotionally filled memory is to catalyze and energize our creative endeavor.  When our journey gets difficult, we can recall the memory of the ritual to remember to have our mind step out of the way and do what needs to be done and to know the seed for what we desire is planted, growing and unfolding. We are only waiting for it to bear the fruit we desire.

The whole intent of the actions in rituals are to open ourselves to the awareness which lies in feelings. In particular, to open ourselves to the feeling which provides the awareness as to the intention for what we desire to create. In whatever way appropriate, we need to create a ritual that demonstrates that we are opening ourselves to feeling within our being and our body. We need to demonstrate in some way we are willing to explore the depth and breadth of what we are capable of sensing and feeling to access the feeling which gives rise to the awareness for the intention for our life.

Additionally, our body does functions like an antenna to sense the unseen  energies of Creation. Part of any ritual is to open communications with the unseen. Communication with the unseen comes through what we feel. We may have images, pictures and thoughts which we know arise from the unseen, but what we have is only our mind giving the best interpretation it can of the energy it senses. In whatever way our mind interprets what we see, we need to be open to sense the subtle energy differences such that mind being to recognize when it has not properly characterize what we feel. Mind needs to learn to understand and know it does not always have the minimum set of experience to properly characterize what we sense. In this awareness mind becomes open to seeing what it needs and does not try and control. Rather it seeks to do what is necessary to properly understand.

In whatever way appropriate, we need to explore and create experiences which allow us to experience the depth and breadth of the range of our feeling.  This cannot be done all at once. However, we can do some type and kind of ritual to demonstrate that we are open to exploring the experiencing the entire range of what is possible. As a minimum we should create a ritual which allows us to explore what we feel spiritually, mentally, emotionally or physically. Or, alternatively said, allow us to explore the feeling which arises because of what we experience as spiritual, as mental, as emotional and as physical.
