Fear of being alone

In living the intention for our life and having the experiences we came to have, we are frequently seen differently from what society would like us to be. When we separate from any group, in addition to being seen differently and not as a member of that group, we are no longer tied to that emotional energy that we were receiving from the group.

Our separation is felt as a deep aloneness. Unless we understand this aloneness we can begin to fear it. The fear of being alone includes this aspect of separation and the fear can be felt on many different levels - we are alone and we can consciously and subconsciously feel it.

In living the intention for our life and having the experiences we came to have, we are frequently seen differently from what society would like us to be. However, if we accept society’s standards, the group consciousness can and will overcome the individual consciousness if we are plugged into it. By agreement, group consciousness rules if we agree to plug into it. By joining a group, the group taps into our energy and we can tap into its energy. However, our influence on the group is much less than the group’s influence on us. The larger the group, the less influence we have.

The principle is very simple - there are more of them than us and our energy is a small fraction of theirs whereas theirs can be a large fraction of ours. Additionally, many of these influences extend past the physical plane, depending how many other beings are plugged into the same group consciousness. Remember, we are the perfect expression on the physical plane of the beliefs you carry. In the same way there are beliefs that have no expression on the physical plane and there are beliefs that have a component of their expression on the physical plane and simultaneously have expressions in other realities. We are a multidimensional being. We assume that of the earth plane is solely of the earth plane. We do not realize that beliefs can have simultaneous expression in many other realities.

What does this have to do with a fear of being alone? Well, when we separate from any group, in addition to being seen differently and not as a member of that group, we are no longer tied to that emotional energy that we were receiving from the group so our fear of being alone includes this aspect of separation and the fear can be felt on many different levels - we are alone and we can consciously and subconsciously feel it. Most people say they are afraid of group consciousness because they are afraid they will lose their identity so they participate in a "half-hearted" fashion. In reality this is very far from the truth. In many cases, once they plug into a group, they give up control to the group in ways they never imagined and, in fact loose part of their identity. This is especially true if they were initiated into the group with some type of ritual.

Some feelings that frequently surface when one is not plugged into a group are feelings of not being liked, being unwanted, useless, not being accepted and isolated. However, all these feelings come from within and can be faced like any other fear. As one grows in living confidently from the heart, many of these fears slowly wither and die because in living from the heart, one knows they have no other option than to live the heart, so these fears just no longer have any meaning in the individual’s life.

In living true to one’s heart, we know that we are an aspect of the consciousness within, or behind, Creation and we are loved by the universe, so not being liked becomes irrelevant. We know that we came to earth for a purpose and our life experience is wanted and desired by the universe or otherwise they would not have incarnated so there is no reason to feel unwanted. Fear of being useless no longer makes any sense, because just experiencing life in the chosen incarnation provides an awakening of a portion of our sleeping consciousness, so obviously life is not useless by any means or stretch of the imagination.

Fear of not being accepted is also irrelevant because one knows that they cannot not be accepted. As part of the oneness of all things there is no way one can ever be not accepted or isolated. So these fears that may accompany separation from a group have no real valid basis. Most importantly, it must be remembered, as one separates from a group by following their heart, a new group of people will be pulled into one’s life. It will be a group of people who are looking to experience what comes to us because we are living our heart, because that is what it means to experience the real us. A new group of people will be found and this new group, being whole unto themselves, will not attach to us out of dependence nor us to them out of dependence, as we would have lived before living our heart.

In separating from any group, it must be remembered there can be nothing subversive or secretive about the effort. Every effort should be made to deal with all issues in an honest fashion and the individual should operate with the understanding that all will ultimately be made public. To live in oneness, nothing can be hidden because all is known. Although there may be the need to mask or "Trojan horse" certain activities so as to not have to face irrational fears of others, all of one’s actions must be expected at some point in the future to be made public. This does not mean they will be made public. One just need to realize there are ultimately no secrets in Creation.

The heart, if not denied, will always lead onto the correct path one need to take no matter how it looks from a physical plane perspective. The heart is what gives life. What is symbolized in the heart is what gives us life. To follow the heart is about giving ourselves life. If we have a sincere intention to separate from a group and honesty is met with unanticipated resistance and causes some offense or issue, we need to trust that all is happening the way it needs to happen. Living the heart will always result in that which is best for the greatest common good.
