It is clear that sexuality and creativity separately and together can lead to a transcendental experience. The question is exactly how are they related.

A transcendental experience is an experience lying beyond the bound of all possible human experiences and knowledge. It is beyond or contrary to the common sense or experience. It is of a metaphysical or what most call a spiritual nature. Any knowledge of it can or will have to be obtained by intuitive rather than empirical knowledge and hence it is call "mystical."

Many mystics have recommended denial of the body and its sensations and used and encouraged meditation, prayers, mantra repetition, and contemplation to achieve a transcendental experience. Other mystics have used meditation, prayer, mantra repetition, and contemplation without denying the body. Some traditions use mind altering substances. Some use rituals. Some use intricate yogic positions and physical discipline. Some individuals, such as those who were involved in the origins of Tantra have used sexuality to obtain transcendental experiences.

In any case, many of the individuals who have used any of these methods have reported a rush and flow of energy described as the Kundalini rising in the Eastern traditions and the descent of the Holy Spirit in the Christian traditions that accompanies our awakening. One of the side benefits to these awakenings are what have been termed "Siddhis" in the Eastern Traditions and are seen as supernatural powers attained in employing the above practices.

The eight Siddhis that have usually been defined in the Eastern traditions that are obtainable are: 1) the ability to reduce our body to the size of an atom and to travel to subtle realms; 2) the ability to expand the body to any size; 3) the ability to make the make the body light or the ability of levitation; 4) the ability to make the body heavy; 5) the ability to attain everything; 6) the ability to see our wishes fulfilled; 7) the ability to gain lordship over everything; 8) the ability to attract and control all things. Added to this list, or encompassed by this list however we choose to view it, are the abilities to heal, to see the future, to know that which is unknowable and other abilities which have generally classified as psychic or intuitive abilities.

However an ability that is often missed and that is a very special gift which is usually not obtainable unless our actions are predicated on unconditional love is the ability to read and speak to the heart of an individual in a language that the mind cannot understand. It is an extreme mystical gift and has often been confused with, or misunderstood by many, to mean the ability to speak in tongues as described as a gift of the Hold Spirit in the Christian traditions. The ability to speak in tongues was such that each person could understanding the speaking in our native tongue. Yet something entirely different is what occurs.

Each of us are a unique creation and there is a very specific and precise language that each of us have that communicates directly to our heart, that is, to the creative life energy that flows and sustains our being. Each of us have a unique inner language that we must learn. However, the ability to speak to any heart in a language that the heart can only understand is one of the more powerful and little understood mystical ability that we can obtain. Such an experience is more of a shamanic experience that is very individual to the individual having the experience. Here again, the ability to access it greatly depends on the intention we hold. It is probably the only mystical gift or Siddhi that will literally and figuratively terrify the mind of one who is faced by an individual who has this ability. The reason for this is the individual’s mind knows a communication is occurring that it cannot understand and is incapable of destroying it. To our mind, the language of the heart is encrypted and will ways be encrypted for mind cannot understand the ways of the heart.

What is interesting to note is that all of these gifts and abilities are the destiny and birthright of each of us if we so choose to have them. We only need to live true to the essence of our being. We only need to access and live our truth. We can create any experience we choose by how we focus our attention and awareness and hold that focus with unwavering faith until we achieve what we desire. Of course in creating any experience we choose by focusing our attention and awareness, we develop habits in the process so we can retain the ability if we choose.

Creating habits, of course, is both an asset and liability for the habit often remain long after its usefulness. On this note, we can focus our attention and awareness two ways. We can sit and hold what we desire to create until we manifests what we desire much like we would do in a meditation. The other way is to set the intention and the allow our intuitive guidance and body wisdom lead the to the experiences we needs to have to manifest what we desire. However, what is not recognized is that we can have a transcendental experience and possible many of these gifts simply by stepping out of mind and surrendering to the flow of our creative life energy and follow our creative passion. We don’t have to consciously create them as many of the esoteric traditions would have us believe. We only need to allow ourselves to be present to the truth of our being and it will take us there.

Birthing the dream of the heart and living in full alignment for what we incarnated to do is a transcendental experience. Additionally when we are in this experience we most probably will feel a great sexual passion in this transcendental experience for it enthuses our whole being with life and we will find we have phenomenal creative abilities. This is, by the way, as in the Siddhi, is only another way of saying we have the ability to gain the ability to attain everything, to see our wishes fulfilled, the ability to gain lordship over everything and the ability to attract and control all things. What does need to be noted here is that if we do not deny the body when we are working with and birthing our dream, whether it be the dream of the heart or any dream that we have chosen, our sexuality may become an issue in birthing and sustaining dreams for sexuality is what creates life.

However, most spiritual and esoteric traditions seem to have lost and/or fail to realize is that manifesting the dream of the heart and living our creative passion fully in the feelings of the body, the heart and then surrendering to sexuality arises from that passion provide the transcendental experience and access to all the other realms of Creation. That is, Creation Itself is a transcendental experience and when we creates in alignment with Creation it will also be a transcendental experience. From that transcendental experience we can move to any realm of Creation we choose. We need to remember the intention for our life arise from the combination of the desire of our individual point of consciousness and the desires of Om and is a transcendental phenomenon.

To live that intention manifests it in Physical Creation and that life transcends what it means to be a physical being for it is to become a creator of Creation. The sexuality we can feels in this situation is a result of the energy that is manifesting in the dream and carried by the dream, In reality, the sexuality has little to do with the sexuality of the individual and this is why sexuality itself has not be as liberating as it can be. Most sexuality experienced by individuals arises from the body as a physical entity to procreate or the feelings arise from the desires of the mind because we have a body and mind mask the heart to achieve what mind desires. To understanding how the creative passion enthuses the body and transcends the mind and body we have to align and surrender to the heart and allow it to lead. Surrender, of course, can be a very frightening prospect to the mind.

The fact that we feel sexual when we are engaged in creative manifestations is a by product of the energy flow into Creation to create a physical manifestation. On this note, what is not understood from a creativity and creativity perspective is the intention to birth a transcendental experience through sexuality is a dream carried by one who chooses a path such as the Tantric tradition. If it flows from the heart to seek the beloved it will create a sexuality that transcends the physical as opposed to our seeking sexual enjoyment and the pleasure of sexuality like we would any drug to numb our pain. Like any other dream or intention we hold, if we hold it long enough and devote sufficient energy to creating the space in our life, we will manifest that dream or intention. Yet it is not the sexuality that causes the transcendental experience but the desire we hold holds in our heart.

What is not understood is it is the birthing of the dream and manifesting it is what gives both the transcendental experience and the sexual experience that we are seeking, not the particular practices that we do as part of the process. The yogic positions, mantras, visualizations although important for creation by the mind are not what provides the transcendental experience. It is the awareness and awakening of the body that arises in the sexuality that provides the experience for the energy of the body permeates all of reality and it can bring to us any thing we desire. Physical intimacy without the yogic positions, mantras, visualizations, itself can bring the awareness we seeks if we use the physical intimacy to awaken the body. The body and its associated body wisdom will lead them to the experience we desire.

What is not realized is that we can hold the intention to have a transcendental experience and if we allow ourselves to be present in our body as we hold the intention, we will have our transcendental experience and we will feel the sexuality. However, we can also hold the intention to have a transcendental experience without allowing ourselves to be in the experience of the body and we will have no feelings of sexuality and again we will have a transcendental experience. That does not mean the energy flow is not there, it simply means we have detached ourselves from feeling the body and cause ourselves to be separate from the Source of our being. The body is what feels and senses. It is an infinite energy localized in a physical form. It is still sensing the entire reality. We are only living in separation thinking the non physical is somehow better than the physical.

A problem many individuals on this path faces is that once we have birthed our dream (a transcendental experience thought sexuality) then the issue become how to sustain the dream that we birthed. That is, a transcendental experiences accompanied by sex. Or, rather, how do we continue our sexuality and maintain our transcendental experiences without succumbing to the addictive aspects of sexuality and the pleasure of the body. Or, said another way, we are faced with the dilemma of how to remain in the sexuality and the pleasure of the body yet live have continual experience in realms where the body is seen and/or believed to encumber our spirituality or non physical being. The solution many use is by nonconsciously or consciously setting the intention for deeper and deeper transcendental experiences embedded in the our practices and the birth of those dreams sustains the sexuality we seek. This then gives the illusion of many deeper layers to Creation when in reality all is immediately available and the "depth" is only a creation of our mind to continue to live in the beliefs the body is somehow separate from the spiritual.

It does need to be noted the transcendental experience that we are capable of having in sex as compared to that experience generated by the body’s desire for sex or the desire of the mind for the pleasure or experience of sex are not of the same level. The transcendental experience is what we experiences when we are fully aligned with the flow of the energy within our being and are birthing the dream of our heart. The sexual experience as a result of the sexuality we are feeling because of the dream and our entire body is enthused by the energy. The two experiences are quite different. If you don’t believe it, you can create them for yourself and then we will see the truth of the words written here. However, it is suggested to not waste our time on such issue. It is recommend we focus our attention and awareness to live true to the essence of our being and our truth at each and every level of our being and all that we need to understand will be made available to us.
