A note on meditation

In understanding energy we can come to the realization that energy has both a seen and unsee portion. It can be localized into a particle or it can remain in an infinite wavelike state. The key understanding here is that it is not one or the other but both. It takes on a form only by how we choose to observe it.

Our consciousness can localized itself depending how we choose to focus our attention and awareness. At this point in time, we have focused much of it into having a physical experience as a human being. Hence, we perceive the reality we experience as a human being. We experience energy in the form of physical Creation and an unseen portions. Alternatively said, we have chosen to observe and experience energy from the perspective of a human being. As such it appears that there is a physical Creation and an unseen realm or realms.

In becoming aware that we can focus our consciousness we can direct it into the localized form of energy that we experience as a human being or we can focus into the infinite wavelike state and into any part of aspect of Creation. In using this aspect, we are able to pull from the unseen realms what we need to create our physical experiences.

To use the unseen aspect of energy, in needs to be understood there are two ways to create something in the physical world. The two ways can best be described as a masculine and feminine way of creating. Only one actively uses this unseen aspect way of creating.

Masculine way of creating (Top)

The first way to create is a very masculine way. It is to thrust forward and go get and/or make happen what we want by actively doing what mind thinks should be done. That is, we go out and create the opportunities and experiences that we desire. Since mind only knows the past, the masculine way of creating works well for any creation that is only a variation of something that exists.

The masculine way tends to be an ego based way of manifesting where we go and take what we think we need or to we “muscle” our intention into form. It is the currently most common way of manifesting in the world. This is the way we are normally taught to get what we want. The masculine way is very much about taking the materials from the country side and building what we desire. In doing so, we may, or may not, have an awareness of what we are doing to our environment. The masculine way of creating is the preferred method of mind for mind is always in control of the creative process. Yet it isn’t really creating. Rather it is repackaging the past in a new form.

Whenever we create in a way that we actively thrust forward we will use the masculine way of creating. In doing so we will most probably be in mind and the ego. This means we will do what we think is necessary. There is nothing wrong with this. We just need to realize there is an alternative way to create that may get what we want in a more integrated and less invasive fashion.

Feminine way of creating (Top)

The second way to create is more feminine. The feminine way to create utilizes the unseen aspect of energy. To create from, or with the internal compass is the feminine way of creating. When one awakens the heart to feelings and to feel what is symbolized in the heart, they will find the feminine way of creating will be utilize to a much greater degree if not become the dominate way of creating.

The feminine way of creating is much like the way a seed pulls the nutrients it needs to grow from the unseen ground below the surface of the earth. The feminine way of creating is about planting a seed in fertile ground and letting the natural growth process bring forth the fruits of that seed according to its natural cycle and in its own time. Here we allow what we seek to grow and be pulled to us. When then need to act on the insights we have and the opportunities that occur.

Or, The feminine way is one of impregnation of a seed when the womb is fertile and to wait allowing the fertilize egg to grow into an embryo and be birthed as a child. Then to nurse the child until it is capable of sustaining itself in the world. The feminine way is very much about growing and absorbing the nutrients from the environment with the natural flow and process of the environment as opposed to taking.

The feminine way is a much less ego based way of manifesting and requires one to surrender to the creative process much the way a mother surrenders to the embryo that grows within their womb. The key to working with the universe in a feminine way is about learning to pull into form the necessary items that are needed.

Exactly how and why the feminine approach works is beyond the scope of this discussion but its essential elements are outlined here. In many ways these essential element resemble a meditation process.

In this second method there are several discernable steps that must be taken.

First we select the seed we wish to plant. This means we create a clear intention and an understanding of what we desire to create . This includes some understanding of what success looks like or what we think success will look like. The success criteria should not be an expectation (my creation must look like....). Rather, they should be the attributes the creations should have (my creation should have the following type of characteristics....).

Second, we need to create a fertile field or a womb in which to plant the seed by preparing the space within our own being. Our mind and what we think and believe is much like a farmer’s field or an undeveloped piece of forest. It is currently occupied by many different types and kinds of existing plants. The plants are usually native to the environment and hardy. Usually they completely occupy all the growing space. We usually need to go in and clean out or clean up both our thinking and what we believe to make space available for our creation to grow. We cannot hold beliefs that will interfere with want we desire to create. They will simply act as obstacles retarding, stunting, or even destroying the growth. Slowing down our thinking by observing the space between our thoughts in meditation is one of the classic ways of cleaning out our thinking. However, what really needs to occur is to clean out and/or rearrange our belief system to allow room for our creation.

Third, we must plant the selected seed in the fertile space. We must hold the thought and then choose to act. Unless we knowing and willing insert the seed and nourish the seed it will not grow and we will not get conscious control over what we experience.

Fourth, we must nurture the seed as it grows by giving what it needs and not what we think it needs. There are two aspects to this fourth step. The first is that we need to hold single point focus for what we wish to create. We must not allow ourselves to be distracted from what we desire and allow doubt in any form to stifle our creation. The second aspect is that we need to give to the seed what it requires. We cannot know before hand exactly how our creation will unfold and what it will need to grow and sustain itself. We will have to allow your intuitive guidance to lead our actions and allow the energy of the creative process itself to bring to us the opportunities to get what we need.

It is to be noted here opportunities are include both the thoughts we get as to how to create what we desire and external opportunities that may appear. Was is said here does not mean you will do nothing. Rather we will need to act on the intuitive insights we get.

The fifth aspect is the less obvious step. We will have to rearrange our external world to accompany the grown and unfoldment of the seed we plant. That is, our life will have to change in some way in response to our creative endeavor. If we don’t start making the external changes that will be required for the unfoldment of our intention, we will not be able to sustain our create in the external world.

Here again, the changes that must be made will most often not be know before hand by mind. We will be lead to the changes that we need to make as if seemingly guided by some unseen force or intelligence. Yet it is simply the natural unfoldment of the creative process that we ourselves have started. The question is whether or not we can step out of mind and surrender to allow ourselves to be lead by our own creative efforts.

Most do not relinquish total control but try to continue to make things happen the way they want things to happen. Here again the recommendation to hold your expectations loosely. That is, know what success looks like but don’t make it an expectation with specifics. Rather hold it loosely as characteristics. The “Pool of creation/Creation insertion exercise” and the exercise described in “Exploring the power of clear intention” are samples of the feminine way of manifesting. They are something you can use to get you started in this methodology.

Masculine and feminine marketing (Top)

In working with your unique nature and the gifts you bring into the world there is actually a masculine and feminine way of marketing. The masculine approach would be that we go out and actively market ourselves and our talents. We thrust out into the world telling everyone what we have to offer. The feminine way would be to allow our intuition to lead us to someone with whom we share our talents. They, in turn, bring others to us because of what we did for them and what we have to offer. Here we do not seek but give as lead. The fruits of our giving is what draws to us to those who need to eat our fruits to become nourished in their lives.

A note on meditation (Top)

Since meditation is such a powerful creative tool it is appropriate to briefly discuss its use. Medication can be used in a masculine or feminine way. It is to be noted that most meditation practices are actually a very masculine way of acting. Meditation is a masculine way of being if we do what we think needs to be done. It is to use the meditation to deny rather than accept and work with the physical aspect of our being and/or the external world. To take oneself into isolation from your world or deny our own physical being to create a particular state of being within ourselves is a masculine creative effort.

Rather than learning to be with what is, as it is, we create an isolated world much like a green house. In doing so, we create an issue for ourselves. The issue we face in this technique is to bring back what we find in to the world and/or make it available to the world. To do so, what we find must be brought back in a way that it can be sustained in the world and not some artificial environment. Few are capable of using a masculine way of creating for inner work and then bringing back what one has found into the world to make lasting changes within themselves or the world they inhabit. It is much like growing a flower in a greenhouse because the climate is unsuitable for the flower. Then we bring the plant out into an unsuitable environment expecting it to flourish when in fact the environment is not suitable for the plant we wish to have. Otherwise, we would not have needed the greenhouse to grow the plant.

The feminine way of using meditation is to become mindful and aware of two things. One is the thoughts we have and the second it our internal compass. It is then to select and act on the thoughts that lead us in the direction of how we have set our internal compass.
