We create what we experience by how and what we think and believe. Accessing our creative ability and creative power starts with what we think and believe about Creation, ourselves and our life. The belief and thinking inventory is a way to start to explore how what we think and believe limits our creativity or allows us to expand and experience the depth and breadth of our creative ability and creative power.

Background

No simple list of questions will address all that can be addressed or needs to be addressed about how what we think and believe limits our creative ability and creative power. However, we need to start somewhere. Whatever we do, should direct us, in some way, towards exploring the depth and breadth of our creativity. Three perspectives are combined here. Individually, each looks to address the depth and breadth of our creativity. The three perspectives are the Seven Chakra System, the cage of our own making or the box in which we place our creativity, and the beliefs and areas reflected in the "Ceremony to free the creative spirit within" and the liberation of one’s unique creativity conceptual areas.

Seven Charkra System: The Seven Chakra System is one way, and a good starting point, to quickly cover key areas which affect our creativity and was used as the basis of the Seven Chakra Questionnaire for Rituals. The Seven Chakra System conceptual areas address: beliefs about ownership and what we seek to own; beliefs about control, beliefs about our identity and who we think we are in the world, beliefs about the energy and passion to engage life and what we feel and excites us about life, beliefs about our strength of will and ability to speak our truth about what we feel and act in the world, beliefs we have about what we believe and how our beliefs influence the experiences we have, and beliefs we hold about the unseen and our relationships which the unseen and creative power/Creative Power of creation/Creation. Although there are many other aspects to our beliefs and how and what we think and believe affects our creativity, these seven conceptual areas represent a good starting point to analyze what we believe.

The cage of our own making - the box of creativity: We can look at what we think and believe based on the experiences we have and have learned to respond to life by placing our creative spirit into a cage or box of our on making. As a cage, it is a cage we created and we are the ones who have place the bars on our cage. Only we can take them off. As a box, there are six sides. The sides of the box represent what controls our movements laterally in life and our ability to go from place to place moving from thing to thing.

The top of the box is about how we "plug in" or are connected to that which lies "above" and is about our relationship to the unseen creative power/Creative Power of creation/Creation. The top of the box is about sorting out what we call God or the Creator of Creation is responsible for doing and that for which we are responsible. There is an old Arab proverb, "Trust in God but tether your camel." The top of the box is about giving away or taking the true creative ability and creative power we have. Unfortunately, it also means learning to take responsibility for our creations. We need to look to see if we prefer to blame others, ask God to fix our life like a child gives a Christmas wish list to Santa Clause, or take responsibility for what we ourselves have caused to happen even if we do not understand how we caused it to happen.

The bottom of the box is about how we "plug in" or are connected to that which lies "below." It is about our relationship with our body as a vehicle for the human physical experience, Physical Creation and our physical relationships. It is about the type and kind of vehicle we have and how we do or do not understand how to use it and what we do and don’t allow us to feel about life. It is about our identity as a male or female, how we view the masculine and feminine aspects of creation/Creation, and what this means for our life and how we live life.

Ceremony of liberation conceptual areas: The "Ceremony to free the creative spirit within" and the liberation of one’s unique creativity" and the liberation of one’s unique creativity addresses the several conception areas each of which is related to how we experience Creation in a physical body and the physical body as a vehicle for the human physical experience. The conceptual areas are: touch, feeling, seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling, passion to be in the world, nourishing, mobility, thinking, relationship with the unseen, the intention for our life, masculine and feminine aspects of being, and what we hold onto and release.

Approach

The approach is to first look to see what we believe and then look to see if we are being served by the beliefs we hold. We know we are being served when we have the freedom to experience an unfoldment or expansion of our being which can lead us to experience the blossom of our being and/or move into the infinity of our being.

It is to look and address "Where are we free or not free to move?" Creative  freedom and true freedom is to be able to move in any direction and to be able to explore all options within our creative imagination. The goal is to have a set of beliefs which provide this freedom. Whether or not we choose to move in any direction is another issue as is what we try and make manifest in the world based on the exploration in our creative imagination.

The approach is to look at various beliefs, statements and the like to see what we believe and then look to see if what we believe provides for freedom of movement or constrains and restricts us. There is no right or wrong answer. Many beliefs we hold restrict our freedom of movement in order to have certain types and kinds of experiences. To play any game, we have to follow the rules of the game. Otherwise we will not experience playing the game. The same is true for any experience we have. To have the physical experience of being a  human being, we must follow the rules of Physical Creation and what it means to be in a physical human body as the vehicle for the experience we desire to have. Nevertheless, even thought we restrict our unlimited creativity and the infinity of our being to have the physical experience as a human being, we have tremendous opportunities and latitude in life. The question is, "Do we talk advantage of the opportunities which are available as a human being or do we further limit what we experience by the beliefs we hold?"

Taking inventory

The following list of files contain information which can be used to explore our beliefs in a variety of areas. Since the essence of our being is not compartmentized, some of the topics will overlap will overlap with others.
