The challenge in presenting the origins (Top)

It has been difficult to address the true origins of this material for three reasons.

The first and primary reason is that the journey into creativity is not what the author thought it was. What started out to be a journey into creativity to enhance the workplace turned into an inner journey of unforseen proportions. It turned his life upside down and caused him to reframe his whole understanding as to how he thought the world worked. It many ways it is too much to be believed. So how does one present the origins of something that is too much to be believe and its implications.

The second was that the author was never prepared to tell the story of the journey when he stated it. So, he has had to go back and figure out what pieces of the journey provide the information that leads to the understanding as reflected in any one application. In this regard, in the same way the material on anyone application web site is ultimately interlinked to the others, his life experiences giving rise to the origins of the material is also interlinked. The question became was how to tell the origins of any one application, which is an independent creation within itself, without unnecessarily repeating overlapping information and sharing the relevant details of his life that give rise to the origins without becoming self serving.

The third reason is the origins of this material did not arise in the events of his life as we normally tell our story or provide in resume type information. The origins were not simply a result of an experience or even a set of experiences. Rather they were the synthesis of the information within the experiences. For example, he cannot say that he learned organizational creativity from going to management school, being trained as a manager or being a manager. Rather the seed for organizational creativity was laid in two totally unrelated key events in college that created a perspective from which he used to manage others throughout his life. Organizational Creativity then evolved based on those management and organizational experiences generated from the lessons learned in those two events.

The life experiences which are shared are provided to help show how we create our experiences from a depth within our being that our conscious mind does not normally access. Used in this manner, they provide information as to how you might expect events to unfold in your life and/or what you may expect to encounter in your creative endeavors. If you look, you will find similar parallels in your own life and the lives of others - but you must be open to seeing them. Hopefully you will come to see we are an unfolding creative living process.

Where to start to tell the story? (Top)

We all have a story to tell about our life. The story we tell is how we have choose to interpret the events in our life. It is called a story because we can tell it several different ways. The facts remain the same but the story we tell about those events can be quite different. Similarly, the same event may cause several different and even conflicting views of the event and/or our life. For example, there was one individual who routinely contacted the author. He was in great physical pain yet simultaneously he saw nothing but magic in the events of his life there were not part of his own body. On one hand he saw nothing but the wonder and magnificence of what he considered a Divine presence in his life that caused him to marvel beyond belief. Yet simultaneously, he felt totally abandoned by that same Divine presence when it came to his physical condition. The same fact, the same life, but two entirely different perceptions as to what was occurring around those events.

To be honest, it is still questionable as to whether or not a way has been found to adequately tell the story that would best address the origins of this material in a way that could really be understood. But what has been realized is that much of the writing that has been done (much of which is in the applications found on the web) has been to provide the concepts to explain the origins of this material. That is, to tell the story of the origins of this material and relay the understanding, certain concepts are needed. Yet those concepts were not readily or necessarily available to that casual reader.

For example, the concept of the creative spirit was the single key realization that caused the remembrance for what the author incarnated to do. Yet no reference has been found anywhere that addresses the concept of the creative spirit, remembrance and incarnation in the way they need to be discussed to explain the experience of the Source of Creation and the remembrance which occurred in that experience. So there was the need to write about all of these topics to set the foundation to convey the understanding. Similarly, the whole concept of incarnation and the business of our life are not addressed anywhere in a way that does justice to what came with the understanding about creativity, the inner and outer creative powers available to us and the source/Source of our being. So, much of my writing and the material on the applications web sites had been written simply to explain the origins of the Releasing Your Unlimited Creativity understanding and associated materials.

The problem in talking about the origins of this material actually quite simple. Who and what we are is too much to be believed. Our minds and the concepts we possess about ourselves and nature have not yet sufficiently evolved to fully embraced the truth of what is. For many of us, we have to take the understanding presented here in the Releasing Your Unlimited Creativity material on faith and see if it is effective in our lives to create what we desire. Then allow effectiveness to be our measure of truth.

In telling the story, there was, of course, an occasion to consciously start the journey into creativity and that is easy to describe and is provided. There was an occasion to cause the creation of the material on the website you accessed. Similarly an occasion exists for the creation of the applications on each of the application web sites. They too are relatively easy to describe. However, the discovery was the actual origins of the journey and understanding which gives rise to the material on each of the application web sites go much deeper than the occasion for their creation. They go much deeper that we can ever imagine. That is why it has been necessary to create the concepts that explain the story.

It is the process not the details (Top)

The whole intent of the Releasing Your Unlimited Creativity material is to provide a way to see that our lives are much bigger than our minds can imagine. To help meet this intent, the details of the author’s life and the unfoldment of this material is used to help show this fact and maybe assist you in seeing a similar phenomenon in your own life.

The most important thing one needs to understand about creativity is that creativity is an experience. Creativity not something you can learn from books. You learn it from doing and giving yourself permission to experiment with the inner and outer creative powers available to each of us. Unless we experiment with these creative powers in a way that fits our uniqueness as a creative being, we will be unable to access the true depth and breadth of what we can create. In this regard, our creativity is inherently tied to our life experiences and what we allow ourselves to experience. To understand the origins of any creative work, we need to explore the life of the creator relative to the creation. All that can really be done is give you the pieces and allow you to assemble them in a way that makes sense to you and/or satisfies your creative needs relative to the origins of the particular aspect of the Releasing Your Unlimited Creativity for which you are interested. (More on .... exploring the origins of a creative endeavor)

Exploring creativity is about reprogramming (Top)

As a result of the fact that nature of any truly creative endeavor is to take us into the unknown, many of us need to reprogram ourselves and/or acquire a new set of experiences to access the level of creative power and ability to create what we seek. Some of us can do this quite naturally and easily. For others, the necessary reprogramming and/or obtaining the necessary new experiences cannot be done without the assistance of another or others. So, it is wise to become aware of how we need others in our life to access our creativity and become aware of those who enter our life and why they enter our life to help us unfold our desired creation.

On this point of reprogramming what you may expect to encounter in exploring your creativity and creative power, there are four stories it is recommended you review. These four stories help set the stage for way you may expect to encounter in any conscious attempt to access the creative power you seek. As you read the origins of the material on the Releasing Your Unlimited Creativity application web sites you will probably see elements of all these four stories for they all have been experienced in one way or another to one degree or another.

Two of the stories, “The Eaglet” and “The Lion Cub” are found in the hyperlink, “The Human Conditions as seen from the Creativity Perspective.” The third is “A Proverbial Story of Five Men” is found in the truth in labeling topic of the same name. The fourth story is about a wheelwright and a prince embedded in the discussion on the topic “A Reflection on Our Creation, the Creator, the Creation and the Creative Process.” It is to be noted that what is described in these stories the author has personally experienced and can vouch to the applicability in your creative endeavors.
