As stated in the discussion, "An Awareness about Sexuality," The issue of sex and sexuality did not raise its head directly. It started with the observation of a friend’s life, a question to be answered, a dream-meditation vision and an exploration into exactly what the dream-meditation vision revealed. The following highlights and overviews the exploration to understand exactly what the information the dream meditation vision on sexuality revealed.

The response to the dream-meditation vision did not prompt an exploration into sexuality as such. That is, it was not a prompt to go and have sex to see how to creatively use it. Rather the dream-meditation vision was the seed for understanding and obtaining an awareness about sexuality and creativity. It created a focus of attention and awareness about sexuality and creativity and how the two are related. It was about becoming aware of how sexuality was influencing creativity with or without sex. It was more about watching, looking and observing and seeing what we really happening to people when they chose to engage in sex, chose to avoid it, became puzzled as to why it arise in their creative endeavors, disregarded the possibility of creative powers being in sexuality and the like. But, most importantly ,is was about seeing the intentions people held for engaging in sex and what they thought and believed about it. Relative to what exactly the exploration of the dream meditation vision on sexuality revealed a long story can be cut short by saying only two things.

One is that sexuality is the second most creative state of being that we can enter and we use it all the time nonconsciously. We cannot escape it. Lessons learned and observations about sexuality and our creativity is provided through the Creative Sexuality web site and the topic, "Discussion topics on creativity and sexuality."

The second thing concerns the type and kind of discipline that is needed to consciously use the creative power in sexuality. In the dream mediation the following observation was made, "We were then in some type of meeting underground and a bell rang. We were called to meditation since it was the meditation bell. I was escorted through a curtain out to a meditation area. I asked, "Where are the women?" since both men and women were in the meeting. I was told, "Men and women must be kept separate - we don’t do that here." I was then taken naked to a curtained enclosure and told to sit and meditate and I could scratch if I had to. I said "What if I don't want to meditate?" I was told, ‘There is nothing else." I was told in a tone that felt as if the individual, a priest of some type, was saying ‘This is as simple as we can make it for you - you are undisciplined." I said, "There is always something else." He looked at me puzzled and I awoke immediately.

The question is, to what was the priest referring when he said, ‘This is as simple as we can make it for you - you are undisciplined." The answer as to the type and kind of discipline that is needed for other than mediation and using males and females together is discussed in the topic, "What moving past sexuality looks like." As most will probably note, we tend to be too undisciplined to consciously use it. A side note of interest, is that exactly what this discipline looks like took a little over eleven years and four months of observation, research and exploration before in could be effectively captured in words.
