There are two parts to the source
of our creative power. One part is being totally present in the
moment in the
Cauldron
of creation/Creation where the past creation is dissolving and
the new is ready to be poured into a new form. The second part of
our creative power is to be mindful and aware of the focus of our
attention, that is, our
intention, because the focus of our attention and awareness is
what is determining the cast or the mold for the new creation.
Mystics talk about the importance of living in the moment without
thinking of the past or future. They talk about just being present
to what is, as it is. Although it is important to be in this place
of “now” and it is related to our point of power, it is not the
point of our creative power. As long as we hold onto the existing
from of Creation or our lives in any way, we are not at our point of
creative power.
When we are in the
creative/creation process and and see our inner and outer world
collapsing, we are moving toward the point of our creative power.
The point of our creative power is when our current world has
collapsed and the new flow has not yet formed in response to what we
think and believe. It is to be fully present to that moment of
infinite possibilities . This is to be consciously aware of sitting
in the
Cauldron
of creation/Creation as our past dissolves to form our new
creation.
It is to be present in the now facing the anxiety of the
chaos of creation. It is to be in the anxiety of the unknown
fully present to the fears that may be arises. Yet, it is to just be
present to what is and what we are feeling and not giving into the
anxiety or the fears and holding firm in the awareness of what we
desire to create with a
single point focus. It is in this moment in the
Cauldron
of creation/Creation and the
anxiety of the unknown without any biases of our
mind that all is possible. The focus of our attention and
awareness is the seed the takes all that is possible and reduces it
to what we desire.
The issue with this point of creative power is that it is always
influences by our
mind and what we hold in mind. Essential to understanding this
point of power is to know whatever we hold in mind when we enter
this moments will act as the
seed crystal for the next creation. Consequently it is important
to have
clarity of intent and a
single point focus is we wish to consciously capture the power
in this moment. Otherwise our unconscious and subconscious
programming will dominate our creative efforts.
Any intention we hold causes a flow of our
creative life energy into that intention. Energy follows the
path of least resistance. If we align with the flow of energy,
we will create in the
fastest and easiest way. To align with the flow of energy, we
have to be present in the moment,
out of mind, and outside of thinking about the past or the
future - just fully present in the moment. The key is focusing our
attention and awareness on what is, as it is, to determine if the
flow of energy is in alignment with the flow of energy necessary to
manifest the intention we hold. If the energy is not flowing into
what we desire to create, we can choose a course of action that
allows alignment. If we are in alignment, we simply surrender to the
flow.
There are two flows of energy that must be discerned and brought
into alignment. One is the existing flow of energy giving rise to
what we experience and the other flow of energy is the flow into our
desired creation. To sense any flow of energy we must
open to what we feel is being sensed and perceived. We align
with the energy flow through feeling, not with the
mind. Mind does not feel. It only interprets what is perceived
in mind as
emotions based on past experiences and in the body as body
sensations. Mind cannot bring us into our creative power nor bring
us into alignment in the fastest and easiest way to manifest our
intention. We do this through feeling.
To get to your creative power, we will need to do two things: (1)
step out of what we think and believe as to what is required to
manifest our creation, and (2) align with the flow of energy our
intention creates. We do this by allowing our
intuitive guidance to lead us through the unknown of our
creative efforts.
It is in this moment and the awareness of what we feel it become
important to see what our
mind selects to do for here lies the root of many addictions,
including
thinking as an addiction. Most individuals are familiar with
addictions to substances that are used to numb the feeling in the
body such as alcohol, tobacco, drugs, food and the like. In the same
way the external substance gives a certain feeling of pleasure that
numbs the pain, we have subtle mental patterns that give a certain
levels of security and comfort that numb the anxiety we feel about
living life and focusing on the unknown. These subtle mental
patterns in effect do exactly the same thing as an addictive
substance. In the same way one would reach for their addiction when
they feel discomfort, unless one is mindful and aware, one’s mental
habits step in whenever one feels the anxiety and uncertainty of the
creation process.
Although we grew out of childhood cuddling, we always kept two
things. One is we kept the connection with the
warm fuzzy feeling with physical sensations. That is we look to
creating the warm fuzzy feeling through physical means rather that
fully understanding there is a spiritual, mental and emotional
component that also needs to be addressed. The other is we keep the
habit of going to a way of being that will give us security and
remove our anxiousness. Hence we coupled these two desires and
developed an addiction to avoid the anxiety of the unknown and get a
warm fuzzy feeling about life. The particular habit we go to doesn’t
matter. What matters is that we avoid sitting in the uncertainty of
the unknown. Hence, we rob ourselves of our creative power by our
own thinking and beliefs. It is here we assume a
victim consciousness in that we allow something other than our
own awareness to take control over our life.
Being in the moment often causes anxiety to arise. When we enter the
unknown, we do not know what will happen and this is uncomfortable.
Courage is required. To sit in the anxiety of the moment not knowing
where we will be lead or how we will be lead but be willing to go
wherever we are lead is very difficult. This anxiety is the root of
the
thinking addiction we are trying to correct. That
anxiety of chaos and the unknown produces some of the greatest
fear and discomfort you will ever experience. In that moment rather
then being open to possibilities that can serve us, we project the
worst that has or can happen to us into the moment of our greatest
creative power. But we do this all the time at a subconscious level
when we are unable to be open to what we feel and then be fully
present to what we feel knowing that what we hold in mind through
the focus of our attention and awareness will carry us into the new
creation.
When the anxiety of the unknown arises, we have a choice. We can
choose to sit in that anxiety or run away from it. Running away is a
habit of the
mind as is, for example, taking some external substance to numb
the anxiety. Or, doing something externally to distract your
attention from the anxiety. Ultimately there is the need to have
courage--raw courage to sit and wait, to listen, to be lead, and be
open to what we feel.
We already have that courage for it is inherent to us as is
our birthright as creative individuals We only need to chose to
make it manifest. Rather than feel the
anxiety of the unknown, we develop ways of keeping ourselves
occupied by thinking. Relative to creativity, one has to choose to
break the habit or habits that keep them from being present in the
moment and live in the anxiety of the unknown as their Creation
unfolds and hold what to what we desire to create with a
single point focus. We needs to form a new habit of learning to
be happy with what is as it is no matter what it is. Then, being
fully present to what is as it is, in that moment, one is fully open
to the infinite possibilities of the moment. That moment of being in
the moment in the moment where the past is dissolved and the future
not yet formed, in the
anxiety of creation, is the point of creative power. In addition
to facing the unknown, two other related issues that stem from
avoiding the unknown will probably be encountered and divert us from
our creative endeavors. One is the “valley
of contentment” and the other is dealing with the
growth cycles of a creative effort.
