Given the fact that a creation will manifest from energy consciousness based on the focus of the attention and awareness of consciousness, how rain and snow form in the atmosphere is a good analogy for this process.

It is interesting to note that in the formation of both rain and snow, it is essential to have a “seed” to cause the water vapor to condense either into a snow flake or a water drop. The“seed” for rain or snow is usually a speck of dust or an ice crystal. The actual form that the water drop takes, depends on the environmental conditions exactly at the point of formation. For example, there may be a general temperature and humidity for the cloud that causes a particular type of snow flake to form similar in style. It could be a six figured flake whether a fern like stars snow flakes or sector hexagonal plates, however, they will differ in detail. The slight variation of temperature and humidity from point to point will cause a different crystal to form. The end result is no two crystals are alike. Similarly, the size of the water drops for rain depends on the temperature and humidity in the cloud.

Both these process are similar to what happens in energy consciousness with the thoughts and beliefs we hold. The thought is the seed of experience. It arises form the intention we hold. If we change our intention, we have different thoughts. Here again, it is much like rain or snow. For the rain or snow to form, there needs to be the seeds to start the process. If atmospheric conditions are not correct, such as not enough dust or too warm, the snow or rain will not forms. Similarly, our belief structure and our composite intention is what creates the internal climatic conditions to create the thoughts which seed the creative process.

In thinking about this relationship of a thought and an intention, there needs to be some consideration as to what gives rise to thoughts. Thought by definition can be seen in essentially two different ways. One is it is the act or process of using the mind actively and deliberately; meditation; cogitation. It is an intellectual activity of a specific kind ,for example, Greek or Roman thought or consideration defined by Greek or Roman thought reflecting the Greek or Roman social and cultural ideas. Thought is also attention or the intention or idea of doing something. In these senses we are acting on a thought. In another definition, thought it is the product of thinking: an idea, concept, judgement, etc. It is this latter definition that allows us to see the thought as a seed which will unfold.

Intention, although it can be considered a thought is something slightly different. Any intention is the product of an intent. An intent is purpose, aim, goal or design. It is the act of intending. It is a the state of mind in which, or the purpose with which, one does an act. Intent can be seen as a stare. It directing one’s mind or efforts steadfastly, earnestly or attentively.

The important distinction here is a thought can come and go. An intention stays until consciously released or the aim or purpose is accomplished. An intention can carry our action past completion of one or more acts until the intent is obtained. It is a much more powerful creative tool than simply holding a thought. In fact if we look carefully, we can find an intention behind every thought we have and that intention is the reason why we are thinking the way we do. If we wish to change our world and what we manifest, we need to change our thoughts. To change our thoughts, we need to change our intentions

We need to realized the same intention and/or though held in a different environment will unfold into a different manifestation and set of experiences. It will be of the same style but different detail. If we wish, we can look at the temperature necessary to create snow or rain as the external environment as the belief structure of the consciousness that holds the thought. The humidity can be seen as the amount of energy that consciousness can put into the thought. Physical reality and matter is only one such way to manifest thoughts.
