We each are unique. Everyone is unique. We each have a different response and perception to anything we experience. This includes our response to any therapy in which we undergo. The question is how does our uniqueness play a role in creating health. Relative to creating health, our uniqueness comes to play in several different ways. One way is that many techniques and therapies are based on a normal distribution and there is a range and variation in the response. Any healing modality is based on collection of individuals Many techniques are based on a normal distribution and there is a range and variation in the response of an one individuals within a normal distribution. There will always be variation in how we will response. Enough similarities exist to make us believe we are essentially the same when in fact, we are different. In undergoing any treatment we need to become aware of how we are or are not responding to what the healer expects. In fact, it may be our condition is outside the range of the healer for all healers are not created equal. Similarly although they appear the same, all body conditions do not result from the same cause. What we or the healer think may be the cause may in fact be something different. Here we need to have open communications with the healer to see if our condition is progressing as expected. In particular, we need to monitor our response to any therapy recommended. No one is really going to adequately look out for our interests. They can’t. No one other than ourselves knows how we feel and what we feel and who what we feeling changes over time. Only we know what we are ultimately seeking and must do in, and with, our life. A mechanic can keep our car in the best possible mechanical condition to the best of their ability. How and where we drive it is totally our responsibility and our choice. In many ways a healer is no different. They can give us all the wisdom of humanity. Yet is us who manages our body.
