Any dream manifested is really a life unto itself. As a life, or a life form, the dream will gestate, birth, grow and expand to maturity like any other life. However, dreams don’t die as humans know death. Rather, either one of two things happen. One is they wither away because no creative life energy flows into them to nourish and sustain them. Or, they can be aborted, still born or die in infancy or at some other period in life. Here again, it is not so much dying but shutting off the energy and if one chooses, that energy can be restored. Dreams can be resurrected and born again if nourished and will unfold according to the environment in which it finds itself. That is, some environments support a dream better than others. In the same way physical life may need the assistance of a midwife or doctor at birth and a nanny to care for it and to help it to learn to sustain itself as it grows in the world, our dream may also need such assistance. The only significant difference between the dream and the human child is that the fertilized egg of a child does not lie dormant in any way. It grows or doesn’t instantaneously. However, the dream once created can lie dormant like a seed and not germinate until conditions are correct for its growth in some fashion. The birth of our dream is an inner transformation process that is followed by birth and an infancy period. There is a period where the dream is real and exists within the individual’s being and in world because the individual is actively choosing to create it, but the reality of the individual’s external world has not yet changed to sustain that dream. There comes a point in time where the individual must choose to manifest the dream and to act in the world to bring it forth. It is the choice to act and the action we take which births the dream. The birth of the dream may or may not be an elective process. The choice to manifest any dream is ultimate ours but we may not know we are birthing a dream since we have been impregnated with a dream in unawareness and allow that dream to birth in unawareness. All dreams have a component of desire. Only we can make that choice to act or not act on the dream that we have in that only we can chose to act or not act to fulfill the desire that we have. When the dream is conscious we are aware we hold the dream. When the dream is nonconscious, we are only aware of the desire. The infancy period is a growth period where the dream grows and the external reality of the individual changes to sustain that dream. In time, the dream reaches a level where the reality of the individual has shifted sufficiently for the individual to live the dream relative freely within the world. The infancy ends when the dream can stand freely in the world without any external assistance. As the dream is sustained, it grows and matures and will bear fruit in the life of the individual and that fruit will have seeds creating new life both within the individual and the world that they experience. What needs to be understood is that any dream or wish that manifests is accompanied with changes in our life that are inherent to the dream manifesting. Unless we are prepared and understand those changes, manifesting our dream will bring us neither the satisfaction or freedom in life that we expected to have. What needs to be emphasized and fully understood is that dreams that manifest cause a new way of life and a new state of being to exist because of how our focused attention directs our creative life energy in the world. Independent of the origin of the dream, any dream manifested are like life itself and will tend to have a life of its own because of the life energy that we have put into it and how the dream manifests shifts our focus and attention in the world. As we work with or becomes aware of our dreams whatever their origin, we will see that in many ways the dreams we carry supplies the energy behind our life and sustain our life. That is, their presence causes desire to rise in us and that desire pulls us into life and the experience of life, or that dream pushes us away from aspects of life and we withdraw from life to go in another direction. The dreams we carry are what makes us want to live and want to live passionately The dream manifested and our focused awareness and attention on the dream are integrally tied together as a result of how the inner is reflected in the outer. As our inner world changes our outer world change accordingly. Whenever we choose to manifest a dream we are the Phoenix. The Phoenix chooses its own transformation. Choosing to manifest a dream, any dream, will open the channels to cause our creative life energy to flow through our being into that dream. Although our creative life energy is always flowing within us to sustain our being, we do not necessarily plug ourselves into it to effectively utilize it to fuel our creations. Sometimes we have so scattered and fragmented our energy we have little emotional energy for our creative efforts. However, when we choose to manifest a dream, it is as though we plug into the source of life itself and, in fact, we do. The deeper and broader the dream we manifest the deeper and broader the energy will flow. It does need to be noted that manifesting a significant dream like the dream of the heart that will transcend who and what we think we are will impact the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical levels of our being. The truth of reality is that we are a being of infinite proportions and are capable manifesting a dream of infinite size, a dream much bigger than our ego can imagine. However most of us have come to believe we are very limited and confined within the limits and boundaries of our bodies, the physical world, and what we have come to believe. In the most severe cases, where one has this very limited view of who and what they are and, are faced with a dream of infinite proportions the change we experience and flow of energy that goes with those changes is quite enormous and will simply shatter our enculturated ego and the world as we know it. This is in fact what will happen to most if they unknowingly stumble upon the dream of their heart. The dream of the heart is always something much bigger than our ego can ever imagine. As one will come to see, the dream of the heart lies in the intention that brought us into this world and existed within us long before our current ego every developed.
