What needs to be understood about
the
relationship of energy and consciousness is that all our normal
way of viewing energy gives no indication of its direct relation to
consciousness. Similarly, all our normal ways of viewing
consciousness do not reveal its relationship to energy. The
discussions on energy consciousness such as “Energy
- an invariant within the creativity perspective the key to
understanding the creative process,”
Interdisciplinary Aspects of the Releasing Your Unlimited Creativity
Technology,” and "Energy
consciousness - the mud of creation/Creation"
start their discussion based on the equivalence of the
definitions of energy and consciousness. The topic, “Need
for our own experiments to reveal our nature and the nature of
Creation - lessons learned from wave particle duality” discusses
the need for us to do our own experiments. That is, since our normal
way of viewing Creation does not allow us to readily see the nature
of energy and consciousness, we need to create experiences to change
our perspective and method of observation to see the relationship.
Another way to view this relationship is to realize and contemplate
the fact that all of Creation arises from the same “stuff” of
Creation. We are the “stuff” of
creation/Creation.
In this regard, understanding who and what we are can provide a
great understanding about Creation/creation. Similarly,
understanding the world external to us, can tell us a lot about
ourselves and creation/Creation. It is to realize that whatever we
are, we are made of the same “stuff”we experience outside ourselves.
What we experience in our life and within ourselves is the same in
some way as that which we see outside ourselves. Knowing that, we
can then look to see what occurs in the processes we observe outside
ourselves. This includes observing both (1) the process that occur within of
our world, of which we are an apparent independent observer standing
outside and apart from which is occurring, for example, the sun
rising, and (2) the processes which occur within our world of which
we know we are a part. We can then look at our own lives and infer
something about the
larger process governing our lives of which we are only a part.
Whether we consider the statement that we all arise from the same
“stuff” of Creation an assumption or a fact, is our choice. Whether
we wish to call the “stuff” out of which all Creation arise as God
or a pre-Creation Void is also our choice. However, it needs to be
realized that our choice as to what we believe does not necessarily
reflect reality. Of course, the objection can be raised that we can
say that living forms arise from a different “stuff” than non living
forms. It can be said the evidence suggests there are two “stuffs”
of creation. You could say that living forms arise from, or with,
spirit or soul (“spirit stuff” or “unseen stuff”) whereas non living
forms arise only from material Creation (“material stuff”). These
two forms are suggested because living forms have an animating
force, animating energy, spirit or whatever that gives it life where
as non living material seems to have no such quality. However, we
can equally say that a living form is just a different expression of
the same “stuff” of Creation as a non living form. That is the
“spirit stuff” and the “material stuff” are somehow the same but
expressed differently.
If we look carefully, all the material world is made of energy which
is unseen (except visible light for we seen that because of how our
eyes are constructed) . Energy - the ability or capacity to produce
an effect is just as nebulous a concept as what we call the spirit
that animates life. We do not consider it nebulous because we can do
something with this concept through mathematics and the other half
of the definition of energy - that is, the ability to do work. Here
work is given a precise mathematical definition of a force (push or
pull) acting through a distance. The ability to do work is just the
ability to cause a push or pull to come into existence and act on
something through a given distance. But what we do know that is not
nebulous is that energy can be transformed into mass and it is
energy that animates our life. What animates our life has been
traditionally called our spirit. Yet it is only an energy. Take the
energy process away - that is deny it the fuel found in the food we
eat and the air we breath - and the individual dies. So, in some
way, energy as described in physics is related to what we call
spirit. In fact, this connection about a life energy or
life force within us a has been always known and goes back to
the original definition of the horse power.
It is not far fetched to say that living forms and “spirit stuff” is
only a different expression of the same non living “material stuff.”
The question is, “What is this “stuff” of Creation and what is the
relationship between the “material stuff” and the “spirit stuff”?”
Their relationship is energy. So the starting point to understand
how we create our experiences and the reality of those experiences
is energy. Energy being that ability or capacity to produce an
effect or the ability to do work. We just need to realize that
consciousness is a different form of energy for when we are aware
and awake, conscious as to how something works, we possess the
ability or capacity to produce an effect.
