There is an old saying that we know a tree by its fruits. An apple tree gives apples. A pear tree give pears. We cannot expect pears from an apple tree and apples from a pear tree. We may be able to cross breed them and create a new fruit neither pear nor apple. But we cannot get from something what it does not contain within its essence.

All Creation flows from the same Source. At the deepest essence of our being, we are all the same. We are only the creative life energy of the Source of all being made manifest. If we look deep enough and whether we pull the string to understand how consciousness manifests itself or how energy manifests itself, we will find this is true. At our deepest essence we are all the same.

Yet, our fruits, the expression of who and what we are in the world seems to be so different. This is because of what we have allow ourselves. We become what we are as a result of the experiences we have had and because of what mind thinks and believes. This phenomenon allows for a very powerful tool to knowing and understanding any aspect of creation/Creation.

By knowing the Source and seeing the fruit of an individual’s life, we know what lies between and we can know the tree. We can even begin to understand the tree and why it bears the fruit that it does. In that realization, an individual can be directed into the root of any experience in life they wish to change.

Through the illusion of Creation, there is, in essence, two sources which give rise to the fruit that is experienced. The source of the life we experience is a combination of the fact we are an individualized point of consciousness and a unique aspect of the consciousness within, or behind, Creation, and a product of our mind and the experiences it has had as a unique aspect of the consciousness within, or behind, Creation. It is our mind which molds that which flows from the Source into what we see before us and experience as Creation.

The Source of Creation which lies at the essence of our being and is inherent to all of us. It is the same in all of us. We need to remember the consciousness within, or behind, Creation was alone and desired a Playmate. Being infinite, It has an infinite number of ways in which to experience play. In attempting to find a playmate, it created an illusion which caused it to fragmented itself  into an infinite number of infinite individuated points of consciousness each representing a different aspect of Consciousness capable of becoming a Playmate. Each individualize point of consciousness is only the original consciousness with, or behind, Creation looking out at itself in a different way. Each of us are a different expression of an aspect of All That Is.

If we awaken to this fact, and expand our awareness of this fact, we came move from experiencing ourselves as an individualized aspect into what can be called a cosmic consciousness. That is, we see the totality of what is as the consciousness within, or behind, Creation. However, in doing that we lose our individual view and experience of Creation and have an entirely different experience of Creation.

At the deepest essence of our being we are all the same for we come from the same Source. However, we each represent a different facet of this infinite Consciousness so we are all inherently different. As an individualized view or aspect of Creation, if we live true to our nature we always perceive what we experience different than every other. But we are the same consciousness. The fact we are a unique aspect of the consciousness within, or behind, Creation is not what creates the experiences we have. It is what provided the unique perspective of Creation. What creates what we experiences is what we think and believe as a result of our unique perspective that causes our truth to become different than what arise from the Source of Creation.

It is here our mind becomes very important for it is what gives rise to the fruits we experience. The mind we experience is a result of the experiences we have. To know the Source and what lies at the Source, we need to get past or stand outside of both our transcendental mind and enculturated mind to know and experience this Source. Otherwise, we will need to rely on the experiences of others to tell us what lies at the Source and they are not always accurate because of how mind interprets an experience of the Source.

So we are all different and our fruits will be different for each is a different expression of an aspect of the consciousness within, or behind, Creation. If we live true to our nature we will live true to our unique perspective and we always will be different for we perceive differently. We will not see the true of this or the power which lies in it until we can step out of mind in the awareness to see the truth of what is. The world we experience and the experiences we have in that world are a creation of our own making. They are our fruits. We only need to look at what we have created to understand essence of who we think we are and how the world works.

As an individualized consciousness perceiving itself through our unique view, we are inherently creators. It is our birthright. We do not stop creating because we are in Creation. Rather we continue to create by what we think, do and say. What we think, do and say is based on how and what we believe and what we experience. As such we are continually recreating ourselves and our experiences as a creative living process.

We are free to change what we think and believe to change what we experience and experience the fruit of what we think and believe. It doesn’t matter what we create. There are no judgments except those which we levy on ourselves. But there are consequences for the time and place in which we create. In observing the fruits of an individual’s life, we will know the tree and the essence of the tree that produced those fruits. In that knowing, we will know the mind that produced the fruits we observe. Since mind is dualistic, it can produce sweet or bitter fruits and we can judge the fruits of another a bitter or sweet.

What needs to be understood is that any two individual points of consciousness that have the same experience at the same time of Creation as created by the consciousness within, or behind, Creation outside their individualized mind will perceive the experience slightly different. They are not creating the experience the consciousness with, or behind, creation is creating the experience. The two individualized points of consciousness are only witnessing and experiencing the Creation. It is when the mind of the two individualized points of consciousness being to interpret what is experienced and making a judgment of any type for, or against, any aspect of what is experience that new creations with Creation unfold. Those creations within Creation are the fruits of the individualized points of consciousness. What those fruits look like tells us about the sources of the creations how and what the two individualized points of consciousness are thinking and perceiving through their individualized mind.

The bottom line is that, in observing the fruits of an individual’s life, we will know the tree and the essence of the tree that produced those fruits. It that knowing, we will know the mind that produced the fruits we observe.

A note on experiencing the fruits

Since each of are a unique expression of the consciousness within, and behind, Creation, one would think (through our judging mind, of course) that the fruits of Creation should be experienced as pleasant, playful and something to be savored. Yet, we find that many of the fruits that we and others express seem to be bitter and unpleasant. There are two reasons for this. One relatively simply, the other a little deeper.

The simple answer is that since we each carry judgments and preferences about how we think the world works and how the world should be, We are only judging something as bitter and unpleasant when, in actually, everything is fine just the way it is. We don’t realize that by inhabiting a body designed for a specific types and kinds of experiences, the body experiences things as painful or pleasant. Based on what our body experiences as painful and pleasant we develop judgments about what we want and don’t want to experience. We then bias what we experience and make a judgment for or against something when in fact everything is fine just the way it is.

We only need to remove our judgments, opinions and biases to see the beauty in the fruits of another or any situation we face. Each of us need to step out of mind and become that detached witness to see reality for what it truly is and not based on our opinion and interpretation of reality. However if we can become that detached witness you will still find some of the fruits of others very bitter and unpleasant even though we are making no personal judgments. The sensations we feel in the body being out of mind or in mind are unpleasant. Pain is painful however we experience it.

We can look at the problem we face in the following way. A rattle snake has a poisonous bite. Hence in our thinking and judging mind our response will probably be that rattle snakes are unwanted, if not bad. So we think we should kill and eradicated rattlesnakes. However, if we become the detached witness and move out of our thinking and judging mind we can begin to see the rattle snake is part of a larger picture and part of a larger ecological cycle. The rattle snake still has a poisonous bite and could kill us, but it is not our predator. It does not look to kill us and eat us as food. It responds in defense of itself. If we become aware and learn the nature of rattle snakes, we can learn to live in an acceptable co-existence with them. We are capable of learning where they live and respect their habitat. We don’t have to kill them. We do what is necessary to keep them away or warn them if we approach.

If however, we want what they want, like the piece of ground they happen to be laying on, then, of course, a confrontation is inevitable. One of us is going to strike the other. The point here is that our becoming a detached witness does not remove the poison from the rattle snake’s bite or change it nature. But we can see the reality of the situation for what it is. We can learn to allow both ourselves and the rattlesnake to have the space we each need to be everything who and what we are, each true to their unique nature.

When we become the detached witness and move out of mind and our ego as to who we think we are and how we think the world works, there are two things that we can observe. One is that we still find individuals whose fruits seem to be bitter and unpleasant and it seems as though our judgment has nothing to do with how we look at them. So we have to learn to how to live and work with their nature for there are reasons for all creations.

The other observation is that when find an individual who is able to step out of their mind and ego to become a detached witness and live from the state of being the detached witness rather than using it as an observation point. In this case, we find the deep essence of their being shines and they exist in a state of creative passion characterized as that spontaneous and innocent childlike play of exploration and discovery and/or they are in wonderment and "AH" at the unfolding of the universe. They are true to their being and the fruits of their being is a creative passionate play at manifesting the essence of their being.

The second and deeper answer as to why we can experience a bitterness in our own fruits and the fruit of others is that we do not live true to our essence. We ourselves make our fruit bitter. The fruit of our being that arises from the deepest essence of our being is, and always will be, spontaneous and innocent childlike play of discovery and exploration in a way that is that unique facet or aspect of the consciousness within or behind, Creation.

If we, or anyone else, are not capable of being in that childlike play or experiencing that childlike play we are causing our fruits to become bitter. In dong so, we simply manifesting the fruit of our own creation. That is we manifest the fruit of how we have chosen, or how we have come to think and believe rather than surrendering to what is as it is and learning to dance with the energy within our being.

The world we experience and the experiences we have in that world are a creation of our own making. They are our fruits. We only need to look at what we have created to understand essence of who we think we are and how the world works. It doesn’t matter what we create. There are no judgments except those which we levy on ourselves. If we cannot, and do not, experience our creations as spontaneous and innocent childlike play discovering and exploring our own creative ability, we have somehow imposed the judgments of our mind over our true essence. In observing the fruits of an individual’s life, we will know the tree and the essence of the tree that produced those fruits. It that knowing, we will know the mind that produced the fruits we observe.

Without the imposition of ego and mind, we will be in spontaneous and innocent childlike play of discovery and exploration. To deny the lead of our body wisdom and intuitive guidance, and rely on our mind and ego we will experience exactly what we are currently experiencing. The difference between what our heart wants and what are mind wants tells us how far we have moved away from the essence of our own being and from being in flow with our own creative living process. Yet, we are free to be and create as we choose. There is no requirement to change. The choice and always will be ours. The question is whether or not we are being served by what we experience.
