In talking about how energy and consciousness interact to create the reality we experience it is often hard to see some of what is possible because the phenomena are outside the range of our every day experiences. For example, there is a relative new phenomenon (at least at the time of this writing) that can be used to help explain how we lose our creative life energy by life’s events and scatter our energy. It is another way we can split our own energy but this time cause it to become unavailable.

It is a phenomenon that uses two laser beams that lends itself nicely to the observer - observed pair and how light can become trapped in matter. This phenomenon lends itself nicely to give an analogy to explain how we lose a part of our creative spirit or creative life energy in trauma and how energy gets locked into a physical experience such that we become anchored or grounded to a human body.

Physicists have been able to slow light and bring it to a complete stop for times less than a thousandth of a second, which can be perceived as an eternity to the light that normally travels at 186, 000 miles per second. The phenomenon gives a plausible way in which we freeze and bind our creative life energy in memories. The way light is stopped is that a laser illuminates a inky black vapor of atoms that is made transparent by the action of the laser. Normally an opaque material blocks light because the electrons of the atoms vibrate and resonate in a way absorbing the energy. However, the laser in acting on the material prevents the electrons from resonating and the material becomes transparent to another laser pulse. When the second laser pulse is in the vapor physicists turn of the first laser and the second light pulse stops in the vapor and the light becomes frozen. When the laser is turn on again, after a faction of a second, the light will emerge continuing on its path. When the light is frozen, all its characteristics are transferred to the atoms of the cloud. When the laser is turned on again, all the information is shift back from the atoms to the light.

This mechanism offers and interest supplement to what is discussed in the holographic process. In the holographic process one laser beam is split to create a hologram which contains an image of the or the original object. Here we have two lasers were we cause energy to become trapped because one laser is turned off. In some ways we can consider this phenomenon as an analogy for how we create our bodies, how our bodies store our energy and how traumatic experiences bind our energy.

If we look at the inky black vapor as our body and the first laser shined into the inky black vapor as the flow of our creative life energy and awareness that give our body life. Remember energy and consciousness are the same thing so a directed focus of ones attention and awareness is a directed flow of energy. So as we have a physical experience, in addition to the flow of energy giving rise to the experience, there is the awareness within the energy that is observing and having the experience of the creation. The awareness having the experience can be seen as the second laser shining through the dark vapor. However, if during the experience we suffer pain and trauma and we shut off the awareness of what is happening or our awareness goes elsewhere, the first laser representative of the flow of our creative life energy gets lock in the atoms of the body or the black vapor.

If we don’t bring our awareness back to the body as a body memory and that experience we were having, that energy remains locked in the body. As such it is unable to flow to be fully processed or it may be caused to flow in an unwanted pattern. In either case that energy is no longer available for other creative activities for the energy is still frozen by the experience. One will have to go back and turn their awareness on again to release the frozen energy or release the patter that is diverting our creative life energy. Processing the energy would be to go back and deal with the pain and suffering of the original trauma that caused us to turn our awareness off. This is also what one would do in a traditional soul retrieval. That is, through the help of another, we go back and bring attention and awareness to the event of the past to restore it life given the proper release of the bound energy.

Although it may be difficult to fully understanding how freezing laser light is related to the experiences we have, the trauma we suffer in life and what may need to be done to call back our creative power we have given way, we need to remember all is energy. In understanding energy as consciousness, all is capable of becoming aware and awake or going into unawareness if not sleep. In essence, we simply awaken and shutdown aspects of our own conscious that does or doesn’t allow our creative life energy to flow. This occurs at each and every level of our being and within our being. It is quantum mechanical phenomena like these which can help us see how our body and memories can store and release energy creating conditions of health or illness simply because we do not bring our awareness fully into the experience we have when we have it.
