Almost all traditions are designed
to get us somewhere. The issue with any one tradition is whether or
not it will give us what we desire to experience. The issue we face
relative to using a tradition for the exploration of our
unlimited creativity or
reconstituting
our
creative
ability and creative power
is that it will not allow us to experience the
truth of our being.
The only way we can experience the truth of our being is to explore
the depth and breadth of our unlimited creativity using
our
own creative passion and our own
intuitive guidance - our
internal compass,
body wisdom and intuitive guidance. Similarly, the only way
we will constitute our true creative ability and creative power is
to follow
our
own truth and not that of any other.
The problem we have with any tradition and the guidance furnished by
any individual is that what is given is their perception of reality
not ours. As stated in the topic, “The problem of mind and the
experience of the Source of Creation - the trap of mind,” our
mind
will characterize our experience of the
Source of Creation based on
our past experiences. That is the same for each and every
individual. Although we each may have a one hundred percent correct
conscious experience of the Source of Creation, our mind will be
unable to properly characterize it. Our mind is a product of the
process of Creation and is limited in what it knows and what it can
characterize. Whatever any mind provides will be in error.
We are a unique
individualized consciousness and a
world unto
ourselves. No other has our uniqueness. Unless we honor that
uniqueness and explore and live its
truth, we will never know the
truth of Creation for we are the truth of Creation. To deny who and
what we are in any way is to deny the truth of Creation. We cannot
live the truth of any other but only
our truth. Otherwise we deny
the truth of Creation.
Almost all traditions have set a goal, whether it be heaven,
transcendence of the physical conditions, awareness, enlightenment
or anything else you may wish to identify. We then some how become
convinced that we need to achieve the goal the tradition identifies.
So we use the tradition. Since the tradition promise us something
that we desire at some level of our being, we are satisfied with the
results simply because we get what we think we should get. But that
does not mean we have accessed the
truth of Creation. The truth of
Creation is in us.
What needs to be realized, most of us are driven by dissatisfaction
with life in some way whether it be
pain,
illness , depression,
addictions or some other condition that they wish to escape from. If
we take a inward journey to relieve our pain, to relieve our
dissatisfaction, to remove our boredom, to seek power pr whatever,
we need to look very hard at what we really are seeking and why. We
need to understand what is the real catalyst for our journey for the
intention we hold at the root of our decision will greatly bias what
we find. To run towards something or away from something does not
allow us to explore the
truth of what is. To know truth, we need to be willing to
explore all facets of truth. In the oneness of Creation we are
Creation experience Its Creation as our unique identity. If we want
to know the truth of what is, we only need to explore the depth and
breadth of our own being. We cannot do that when we follow the
guidance of another. Rather we have to
surrender
to the flow of
creative life energy within our being to know the
truth of Creation.
What is intriguing about all of the traditional approaches is that
achievement of the goal, the final escape, or whatever, tend to
happen only after we give an unquestioning
surrender
to the
tradition or the approach. Additionally it usually after exhaustion
where our ego tends to give up or by “grace” some were in the
process there is the spontaneous awareness of what we are trying to
achieve. In fact, some traditions intentionally exhaust the
individual as quickly as possible so that the individual becomes
openness to something different much faster. But the tradition is
only using the
creative process to create an experience of the
intention which gave rise to the tradition. What is created is not
special. It is just another creation open to our experience.
Most of the traditional paths talk about the moment of achievement
being unpredictable. They teach that we must be prepared to
recognize it and accept it. The preparation is always to be fully in
surrender
and
out of mind
and out of who we think we are and how the
universe works such that we embody the beliefs and teaching of the
tradition we use.
All the traditions will work - eventually. However they all assume
at some level each individual is the same. They are correct only in
regards that each individual must
surrender
and be
out of mind
for a
new creation to form. No tradition can be predicated on the fact
that each consciousness is an independent reality for if they were,
there would be no tradition. Traditions work within a defined belief
structure and system. But what will work for one will not work for
another for each consciousness has come to create its understanding
of who and what it is by a different set of life experiences and a
different education about life. The best any tradition can give is
an particular type and kind of experience - that is, the experience
it was designed to give.
.
An alternative way is to recognize
the uniqueness of the
individuated consciousness and that our true identity is the flow of
creative life energy from the
Source of Creation that is manifested
in our physical form and experiences as the flow within our body.
This alternative way requires us to
surrender
to our own
body wisdom
which is in direct contact what the
Source of Creation. We need to
follow the lead of our own
intuitive guidance being
out of mind
sufficiently to
trust and literally act on whatever the intuitive
guidance presents. This alternative way is the basis of several of
the methods of taking this journey of inner exploration. One way is
to act in the innocence of
child like play. All we need to is to act
on our intuitive guidance and body wisdom following them into
spontaneous innocent childlike play. Another way is to restore our
spontaneous innocent childlike play using a
clear intention and then
use the
creative play to act on our intuitive guidance to
reconstitute the
creative
ability and creative power we need to create
what we desire.
