For many creative endeavors, it
appears we need to do nothing and our environment will support our
create efforts. Many of us seem to create what we desire with ease
and others seem never be able to get what they desire. However, most
do not realized
how our internal world is related to our external
world. Most do not realized that in addition to the correct internal
space for creation we also need a correct external space.
The reason why this interconnection between the inner and the outer
is not recognized by many is that the human body is a
creativity machine designed to operate within the environment in
which we find ourselves. Consequently many of our creative endeavors
flow with ease and the way our body works masks many aspects of the
creative/creation process. However, as a human being, we can creatively
challenge what it means to be human and change our environment to
manifest creations that would otherwise not be possible. For
example, flying is not natural to what it means to be a human being.
Yet, today, humans flying around the world is taken for granted. It
is possible because as a human we have change our environment to
support that different way of being.
What we desire to create and hold in our thoughts and beliefs will
manifest in the best way possible based on the environment and
according to the
path of least resistance. In
another environment, the experience we have as a result of our
efforts can be quite different for the same focus of our
attention and awareness. Often it is not that what we desire to
create and manifest that is impossible. Rather, the environment in
which we find ourselves cannot support what we desire. It is as
simple trying to plant a tropical fruit tree in the Northern or
Southern most latitudes expecting it to grow. Sometimes you have to
change your environment to manifest what you desire. For the
tropical fruit tree environment, you would either need to move
towards the equator or build some type of hot house that can control
the environment to simulate a more appropriate climate.
Additionally it needs to be realized that energy follows the
path of least resistance. The
intention we hold creates a flow
of energy. That flow of energy will follow the path of least resistance for the environment in which we find ourselves. Yet, for
energy to flow there must be a
ground point. There must be something within our environment
which pulls on energy. Or, there must be something within our
environment to which we can focus our energy and create a flow path.
Now what needs to be understood here is that sometimes what we
desire to create analogously already lies on top of a hill. Hence,
once we start our creative endeavor it flow freely and readily.
However, at other times, what we desire to create is like trying to
escape the pull of gravity. That is we must push the ball up the
hill or, worse yet, totally escape the pull of gravity to go to the
moon. Often what we desire to create is so different than what is
that we must struggle against the
collective thinking to create what
we desire. In these cases we can expect to meet resistance. In these
cases there is a threshold of energy which we must supply to
overcome the resistance. Once we direct a sufficient amount of
energy to overcome the threshold, we are free of the pull of the
collect and our creative endeavor flows freely.
Exactly what we encounter depends on what we desire to create.
Creating the external space is about realizing this fact and
creating a suit environment to address this fact.
The environment for creation is the environment which will give us
the experiences we desire to have. As such, included within the
creating the external space is finding another or others to gives us
the experiences we desire. Inherent within Creation and the creative
process is the need for another or others. Without the others to
gives us what we desire we cannot create the experiences we desire.
This is a very important concept. Those in our life are only there
to give us the experiences we desire. If we do not like the people
in our life, we must go within and ask, “How is what I think and
believe about life causing me to have the experiences I have?” Then,
as we reveal to ourselves what is causing our experiences, we can
change what is giving rise to what we experience. If we blame others
for what we experience in life but do not take responsibility for
creating at some level of our being the desire for the experience
which they provide, we simply create a
victim consciousness and put our creativity into a prison or a
cage of our
own making.
