Cautionary statement  (Top)

The approach to exploring the nonconscious mind is different than the psychological and therapeutic approach and the healing perspective used by most current medical and alternative practices different from the creativity perspective on healing. As such, an individual involved with any type and kind of psychological and therapeutic treatment and/or desire to explore healing with this approach should read the "Cautionary statement and disclaimer" found in the topic "Exploring our mind."

The basics structure of mind  (Top)

Within the creativity perspective, there are two views to creation. One is the view of the mind and the other is the view from the heart. Ultimately these to view are not separate but only appear separate as a result of the illusion of mind for each arise from the same essence. To know either one we need to spend some time exploring each without interference from the other Exploring mind within the creativity perspective is about understanding and seeing the illusion created by our mind which causes these two view to appear different.

Within each of these two views is an awareness. The awareness is neither one or the other but detached and lies behind, or within, each. Exploring mind can be seen as the awareness of mind decoupling itself from what mind thinks and believes to become a detached witness. Wholeness within our being is experienced when the awareness realizes it is neither the view of the heart nor the view of the mind. Rather, the awareness understands and acts upon the understanding it is the essence of both and that it is the creator experiencing its creation by how it has chosen to focus its attention and awareness through what mind thinks and believes as a result of the experience it has had..

Mind is seen as a property of consciousness which remembers what consciousness experiences and characterize what we experience based on the beliefs mind has and what it chooses to remember. In many ways mind is a lens or a filter through which our awareness views or perceives the experience we have. We believe what we perceive when in actually, we are biased by the filter or the lens. Exploring mind is about understanding exactly how that lens or filter is biasing what we are perceiving.

The awareness within the view of the heart or the view of the mind can be experienced as being aware and awaken. We call this aware and awaken awareness conscious consciousness. That is, we are conscious of what we are aware. We are aware of ourselves, our thoughts and the seen and/or unseen  environment around us. We call awake but unaware awareness nonconscious consciousness and asleep and unaware awareness dormant consciousness.

The nonconscious conscious can be further experienced as subconscious consciousness and unconscious consciousness. Subconscious consciousness is seen as lying just below or underneath that of which we are conscious. It reflects all the material experienced by mind in our current life that has moved or slipped out of our conscious awareness and reasonably readily available for recall. It reflects those things we think we have forgotten but under the correct conditions we readily remember them. As we all have probably experienced, some things are harder to surface from our subconscious than other things. Unconscious consciousness is reflective of all the experiences of every existence we have ever had in any realm of Creation other than our current life. That which lies in the unconscious, though not of our current life, can be surface under the correct conditions.

That fact that subconscious and unconscious information can be surfaced under the correct conditions is the whole basis of exploring mind in the creativity perspective. It is to surface those causes that lie deep within the subconscious or unconscious which is giving rise to the experience we have to change that cause.

Basic physics of exploring mind  (Top)

Exploring mind in the creativity perspective builds on the understanding which unfolds from the "Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective" and the physics of the "Origins of Creation" and the "Observer observed pair and the nature of duality." This understanding states we each are individualized points of consciousness containing the infinity of all of creation within us. We have only not awaken to this fact as a result of the illusion of Creation. We each have the potential to remain totally asleep or awaken to which can be called Cosmic Consciousness.

Within the view of the equivalency of energy and consciousness, consciousness is seen is a flow of energy which has awakened, or has the potential to awaken, to its own existence and its energy will flow to create an experience as determined by the focus of its attention and awareness. In this regard, energy and consciousness exist in a cause effect relationship.

Within the cause effect relationship, the energy can be experienced as the cause with the effect being consciousness awakening. If the flow of energy shifts or changes in some way for whatever reason, consciousness has the potential to awaken to a different aspect of its being. Or, the shift in flow has the potential for some aspect of consciousness to return to an asleep and unaware state.

Similarly, consciousness can be seen as the cause with the effect being to direct the energy to flow into a given experience by how consciousness has focused its attention and awareness. The focus of the attention and awareness of consciousness is determined by how and what consciousness thinks and believes. By changing what and how it thinks and believes consciousness will change the focus of its attention and awareness and redirect the flow of energy into a different experience of creation/Creation creating a new effect. By choosing, or in some way judging, one experience over another as a result of what it thinks and believes consciousness places limits and barrier on what it can create. It loses the ability to shift it energy into our out of all options.

As result of how and what it thinks and believes consciousness can move from experiencing total freedom proverbially reflected in the concepts of Heaven, the Kingdom of God or Nirvana to total captivity reflected in the proverbial Hell. The key is to become unattached and like the wind. Coming with no attachments and leaving with no attachments at each and every level of our being.

As such, the energy we experience can ultimately lead us to how we have focused our attention and awareness and to what we think and believe. Similarly, by adjusting what we think and believe, we can create any experience we desire. The beauty and gift of Physical Creation is that because of the way energy consciousness is experienced separately as energy and as consciousness our inner world is reflected in the outer. Our inner world, the composite of all that we think and believe, is reflected in our body and the environment in which we find ourselves. We only need to learn to pull the string and follow the cause effect chain  from the effect to the cause.

There appears to be only one question we face with two options. Do we wish to see the cause as how we have focused our attention and awareness reflective of the role of consciousness in the creative process or as a flow of energy awakening us to who and what we are and how we have identified ourselves as a result of the experience we have had. But, then there is a third option. It is to see, and learn to dance. It is to learn the dance between energy and consciousness or between the creator of the experience of its creation. But to learn this dance, we need to take full responsibility for the creation we experience. We need to drop our victim consciousness and come to understand how it is possible we create our experiences and we create the reality we experience.

In any case, if we choose, we can pull the string and follow the cause effect chain  back to the source of what we experience for any experience we have either as energy or as consciousness. In doing do, we are then faced with the option of moving from the source of the creation we experience to the Source of Creation. Here we find all is simply consciousness at play with itself. But in doing so, we will find there is an intention for our life that we ourselves have created or in which we have agreed to experience for one reason or another. That then gives us the option of whether or not we wish to become the cause and change why we are here or do we surrender to why we are here and fulfill what we originally set out to do.

As an independent, individualized point of consciousness, we do have a free will and it is our choice. We just need to remember there are consequences for whatever we choose for a give time and place. We only need to be willing to access the consequences for whatever we choose. If we look to blame anyone for what we experience in any way, we simply give our creative ability and creative power over to them. So, here again, we need to become creativity free and like the wind, coming with no attachments and leaving with no attachments.

Using the physical and the structure of mind - creation is not done alone  (Top)

An important, but rather subtle point, to realize about the experience of Creation is that the fact creation is not done alone and we will need another in some way to awaken us. Consciousness is a flow of energy which has awakened to the awareness of itself. Without a flow of energy there is nothing to which to awaken and there is not movement to know that one is awake. The consciousness which gave rise to Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective awakened to itself because of an inherent flow of energy within Creation. There always was, and always will, be a flow of energy that allows for consciousness to awaken.

Hence there is an eternal ebb and flow of energy into and out of form which assumes a shape as directed by consciousness. In this regard, becoming consciously aware is about embracing the our birthright in the creative process to become the cause to alter the flow of energy directed by the intention we hold. Similarly, consciousness awakens and goes to sleep continually redefining itself anew as a result of what it experiences within the flow of energy and what it remembers as to who it is and how it perceives itself to be and the experiences it has when it awakens.

When the consciousness within the Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective shattered itself in the illusion of Creation it also fragmented and shattered the flow of energy to which it awakened. Each independent point of consciousness contains some or none of the this shattered flow of energy. That is, there are different "levels’ of awareness to which any individual point of consciousness first awakens as a result of the flow of energy it experiences. But, nevertheless, each point of consciousness can awaken to a Cosmic Consciousness or go totally asleep and unaware. But there will always be at least one point of consciousness sufficiently aware and awake at anyone moment to awaken all.

Whenever a consciousness awakened, it creates a flow of energy by how it focuses its attention and awareness it creates a flow of energy. It is the focus of the attention and awareness of another that allows us to awaken to the information contained within that flow of energy direct toward us or into which we stumble into. That is, there is an awareness in what we feel. We only need to awaken to what we feel and direct our attention and awareness into what we feel to access the information. When we direct ourselves inward to what we feeling inside ourselves and ask ourselves "What flow of energy gave rise to my life?", we can access the flow of energy for the intention for our life.

For any flow of energy we experience and perceive it as our own, whether we create it because of how we focus our attention and awareness or we perceive and energy permeating us, the beliefs our mind holds forms a belief structure. This belief structure creates an internal terrain or landscape through which our creative life energy flows. When in Physical Creation, because of how the inner is reflected in the outer, our internal landscape gets reflected in the experiences we desire to have in Physical Creation.

Our internal landscape is analogous to a river flowing to the sea. There is a wide variety of experiences to be had because of the varying terrain as any river flow from its source to the sea. For the same source of water, for example flowing east or west down a continental divide to the sea, will experience a different type and kind of terrain flowing east or west. For any given flow of energy we experience, as we change our beliefs we create a different terrain through which our creative life energy flows.

The form of the belief structure we have is only one of an infinite number of creations/Creations we can experience for any given set of beliefs. That is, the exactly same beliefs assembled in a different way creates a different belief structure. That different believe structure subsequently creates a whole different way of thinking. Analogously it is much like the atoms in chemistry. There can be two molecules containing the same originating number and types of atoms but the atoms are arranged to create different molecules with different properties. Since the belief structure forms a terrain through which our creative life energy flows, the beliefs we hold and how we hold the beliefs become very important.

Since we are in Physical Creation and the inner is reflected in the outer, what we experience in our outer world gives us information about our inner world and the beliefs we hold and the structure they form. We only need to pull the string on the cause effect chain  and we can being to pinpoint the beliefs that are giving rise to the particular type and kind of experience we have. Exploring mind in the creativity perspective is about bringing the focus of our attention and awareness into our mind based on the external experiences we have to see what we think and believe and to pull the string as to why we think and believe what we do. Here metatheater is an extremely powerful tool. Using metatheater we can vary what we experience within a given set of conditions to refine and isolate particular beliefs and patterns of thinking.

Exploring mind within the creativity perspective utilizes as a backdrop or framework the fact that we each are an independent consciousness of unlimited creativity having a common physical experience as a human being as a creation within Creation based on what the human collective believes believe a human being to be. This commonality greatly narrows the parts of the belief structure on which we need to focus. Analogously it is like exploring the strand of DNA molecule. Once we know the sequences or the location on the DNA strand we seek, we need to worry about looking at the whole molecule. We can narrow and refine our focus.

Knowing that as an energy manifesting a form or experience as a creation within Creation, our energy is split between and inner and outer form like a cutout and a hole it creates. A certain portion is shared with Physical Creation to give us the experience of Physical Creation,. The other portion is under our direct control. It is the portion under our direct control that we use to explore mind.

To optimize our creative power, this portion of the energy must be free from attachments. Otherwise our creative life energy is bound and unavailable to from a new creation. Of Rather we just continually recreate the past in a new way. Often this bound energy is experiences as being a victim, held captive, oppressiveness, restrictions on or in our life, constraints on our freedom, fear, or otherwise not being free to move.

Exploring mind realizes we bind our energy in attachments by how we have focused our attention and awareness at some level of our being to direct out creative life energy to flow in such a way as to create the experience we have. The approach to exploring the mind by studying flow of energy in our life as done in the physical sciences and in how the mystical and shamanic experience of the unseen . In this regard, the exploration of mind is incomplete unless the environment which mind experiences is also reviewed for the environment and the unfoldment of any creation are integrally linked.

Since creation is not done alone, and consciousness awakens as a result of a flow of energy, an observer, by how they focus their attention and awareness, can create a flow of energy to surface any aspect of an individual’s belief structure. The individual in being mindful and aware of the beliefs, memories or thought that raise in the flow of energy can awaken to the aspect of the belief structure and the beliefs giving rise to the experience they have. In that awareness they have the possibility of changing what they believe and subsequently changing their belief structure. That, in turn, creates a different internal terrain that gets reflected externally in the experiences that one has.

On this point it needs to be noted the intention held by the individual who creates the flow of energy to which an individual awakens an aspect of their being becomes very important. It is also important what intention the individual who is to be awaken holds. Both individuals need to be as clear as possible on what they intend and why. Each should pull the string on their intention until optimal clarity is obtain. What is optimum clarity? That each individual knows, without a doubt what they do and why the do it and they are willing to access the consequences of their actions.

Getting started in exploring the creative aspects of our mind  (Top)

Exploring the conscious, subconscious and unconscious aspects of mind is actually easier than we might first suspect. Individuals have been using a variety of traditions and techniques for centuries. Of course, some have been more successful than others. And, of course, there are a variety of modern and new therapies that can be used.

To learn and work with the view of the mind it is necessary to understand what we think and believe and why we think and believe what we do. To do this we will need to spend some time explore our mind and becoming totally lost in mind. We will also need to learn what it feels like to step out of mind and feels like to be in mind We need to know what it feels to step past the limits and barriers of mind into the unknown..

Exploring mind is about becoming aware of how our mind and memories work to begin to understand how our memories cause us to binding our creative life energy and how we get them to release that energy. It is to become aware of how some memories bind and fix our creative life energy where as other memories hold little or no energy. If we become mindful and aware we can perceive a glimmer of, if not become aware of, the different between the enculturated mind and the transcendent mind.

How we choose to explore our mind is our choice. For those aspects of our past which carry trauma or great pain, it is often necessary to seek spiritual, psychological or medical assistance. The goal is to understand how the mind works from a creativity perspective and to help in whatever creative endeavors we may be pursing.

The goal of the Releasing Your Unlimited Creativity material is that each of us learn to stand in our our truth and understand why we have created the experiences we have. Mind and the experiences we have had is all that keeps us from freely expressing that truth. The recommendation made here is that we learn to consult our intuitive guidance and allow it to be our ultimate lead as to the approach that is best suited for our creative endeavors.

Assistance of others  (Top)

From a creativity perspective, exploring the nonconscious mind is actually easier than we might first suspect. We don’t really need anyone to help us do it. We each are an infinitely creative being and a world unto our self having an experience which at some level of our being, we desired to have.

We may wish to use the services of another individual who may be a therapist, spiritual teacher, healer, and the like, but it needs to be realized the exploration of our conscious and nonconscious mind is something only we can do. After all, it is our mind. On this point, if we do use someone and they are not open to our unique processes and how our creative life energy/creative spirit wishes to communicate to us and what it desires to express, this individual will simply add to our confusion and make our journey more difficult. Ideally the individual would be a conscious or nonconscious rainmaker.

In this journey, the function of the individual that we use (therapist, minister, confidant, spiritual teacher, healer, or otherwise) is only to bring us back to the reality of what is. That is, they sit there before us letting us know what is real (in their opinion) so that we don’t drift off and become stuck in our past pain and frustrations and we don’t wonder off into some dream world not based in reality. This is very important to understand for they hold us accountable to the world they understand. There is a creative relativity at play here. Their world is not necessarily our world even though we share the common reality of Physical Creation. From a creativity perspective, where we hold our creativity sacred, we are seeking our world, our truth and the truth of our being, not the truth of another.

These individuals serve their function by being present to us and with us and to hold us accountable to our truth. That is why it is said a rainmaker is the idea individual. What they think and what they say is much less important, unless of course they are trying to bias our processes in some way as to what is right and what is wrong.

The assistance of others in exploring mind can be viewed in three ways. One is creation is not done alone. The second is another can hold us accountable to what we do. The third is we needs the other to create the flow of energy to which we awaken.

Creation is not done alone: From a creativity perspective, creation is not done alone. We need others to give us the experiences we desire. It needs to be realized that whom every stands before us has been called into our life by something we believe and/or something we desire to experience at some level of our being. This fact alone tells us about our mind and what we think and believe. We only need to pull the string to understand why they entered our life. It will review more that we ever realized is possible.

Hold us accountable: The second way in which an individual can assist us is even though we are exploring our own mind, it is often helpful to use the services of another individual to hold us accountable in our exploration. Whether we explore our conscious, subconscious or unconscious mind, it is something only we can do. Others can guide us and assist us, but only we can do it. When we take this journey it is easy to become distracted and lose focus because of what we find and/or experience. We will have to face the pain of the past and the fears we develop in life because of the past experiences we have had. The other individual can assist us in continually bring us back to what we need to do to continue our journey. But it needs to be emphasized, whomever we may choose to use, it needs to be understood, if they are not open to our unique processes and how our creative life energy wishes to communicate and express itself, this individual will simply add to our confusion and make our journey more difficult. They must be open to us doing whatever we need to do.

In this journey, the function of the individual that we use to assist our journey whether they be a therapist, minister, confidant, friend, rainmaker, dream midwife and dream nanny. or otherwise, they only really function to bring us back to the reality of what is. That is, they sit before us letting us know what is real so that we don’t drift off and become stuck in our past pain and frustrations and we don’t wonder off into some dream world not based in reality. These individuals serve their function by being present to us and with us. What the individual who is helping us thinks and what they say is much less important, unless of course they are trying to bias our processes in some way as to what is right and what is wrong.

Creating a flow of energy: What can be most helpful is finding an individual who can create a focus of their attention and awareness to create a flow of energy which will allow us to awaken that to which we need to awaken for the intention we hold. Ideally this would be a rainmaker. However any individual can create an adequate flow of energy by setting the intention to create and hold a safe and secure space no matter what it looks like and required of them so that we can access our belief structure and the associated beliefs that are the cause of what we desire to change. This is much easier said that done and often when an individual sets such an intention to assist another, they will create the conditions to initiate themselves into the role of the rainmaker. However, they must be willing to face what arises that will cause as aspect of their being to die in order to create and hold the safe and secure space for another. It needs to be remembered, any creation requires a sacrifice. To create a safe and secure space for another will requires a sacrifice and something to die within oneself.

Using a dream or vision as opposed to the assistance of another  (Top)

We can explore our mind by choosing to manifest a dream or a vision of physical reality and transcends our enculturated ego. That is, the dream or vision requires us to step outside our ego and out of that identity we have created as to who we think we are and how we think the world works. It needs to be remembered that we are beings of unlimited creativity. Although our mind thinks something is impossible doe not mean we are incapable of figuring out how to create it. It simply means we need to get out of our mind to find the solution we seek. We simply need to remember that the mind that created our problem is not the mind that will find the solution. It is simply a matter of getting out of our existing mind to transform it into a mind that can create what we desire.

In regards to an individual holds us to here an now, holding a dream or a vision that we attempt to manifest in physical reality and transcends our enculturated ego can function quite well. By maintaining focus, holding a dream or a vision no matter what happens can hold us grounded to here and now. Since we are attempting to manifest to manifest our vision here and now in Physical Creation, the physical world itself forces us back into the world as it is to see how effective we are at changing the world in which we live.

A dream or a vision gives us the space and latitude to surface many of the nonconscious obstacles that rob or diverts our creative life energy. If our external world is not changing and we are not living more and more with an internal joy and inner satisfaction, the actions we are taking are not grounded and manifesting the change we desire. A dream or a vision coupled with a strong internal awareness can work exceptionally well in place of another individual. Of course we will have to evaluate everything that arises in our life in relation as to how it is helping or hindering what we desire to manifest.

Tuning into the past  (Top)

On the point of dissipating bound energy stored in our past memories to make it available for future creations, most of us hold a tremendous amount of our creative power bound in the memories of our past experiences. Much of it is held in the memories of the pain of the past and the fears which arise because of the experience of those pains. Many of us need to do the work to release this energy if we wish to develop the depth and breadth of our creative ability and creative power.

In pursuing the release of the energy we have bound in the past, we need to realize the most energetic aspects arises in response to the intention we hold. Relative to the intention we hold no matter how much clarity we think we obtain, more often than not it is the composite intention of all our conscious, subconscious and unconscious intentions. The most energetic aspect that arises is arising in response to that composite intention. By changing and varying our intention we can surface different aspects of our past that we hold and do not realize what they are intending for our life.

Typical approaches to the exploration of mind (Top)

Some typical approaches to the exploration of the mind are found in the topics, "Exploring the conscious mind," "Exploring the subconscious mind" and "Exploring the unconscious mind," However, it is recommended the topic "Exploring the nonconscious mind" be reviewed before using the techniques in the two topics, "Exploring the subconscious mind" and "Exploring the unconscious mind."

When exploring our mind, it needs to be realized our memories tend to be clustered as if they were grapes on a vine but they are also interconnected in a weave. We start pursuing one memory and it opens to a branch point. Each branch point we take is clustered with other memories arise as if we access a bunch of grapes on the vine. But then when we pursue any one of the memories on the cluster we find the are interconnected with a whole series of other memories. As such, it is quite easy to become lost and distracted by all that arises. In this regard, it is essential we keep our focus. Also the mind is not segmented and compartmented. We can expect to moves between conscious, subconscious and unconscious aspects without realizing we have moved from one to the other. We should not be surprised at anything which arises. Rather, we should take note of what lies within our being for future reference and exploration.
