How intention works

In many ways you can see an intention work in two ways. One way to view it is as a three step process. The process is analogous to creating rain. The process starts with a rain cloud that forms in the sky and builds (a gathering and focusing of our creative life energy) until there is sufficient moisture to rain down. The rain then falls from the cloud brings the waters of life (the flow of our creative life energy into an experience) to nurture and sustain the seed that is planted in the ground (the intention we hold). The plant (our intention) grows and bears fruit (the experience you desire).

The second way is to realize our creative life energy is already flowing to manifest our experiences. Simply by “throwing a switch” in our mind and with a sufficiently deep desire, we divert the energy we already have into what we desire. In this cases there is no need to “gather our energy together.” Rather, it is only redirecting what we already have. What we experience in life is often a combination of both experiences. Sometimes we must reconstitute our creative power as the cloud forms in the sky. Other times we only need to divert what we already have.

What we experience depends on what we believe and whether or not we are willing to trust our subconscious to be reprogrammed and create what we desire. Most meditation methods are based on beliefs move like the need to form a rain cloud. It takes time and effort to accumulate the energy to create what we desire. However, in understanding how we create, we can utilize the second approach and simply shift our energy into what we desire. This is more like what people experience in what are called miracles or magic. Yet, more often than not, it is simply changing the beliefs that are controlling what we experience.

It needs to be noted here that what we ask for will manifest in the quickest way possible for the environment in which we find yourself. The Universe does honor all our requests. Understand that the environment in which we find ourselves may not be able to support the intention the way we ask for its manifestation, or in the time sequence we desire.

Here we can consider the example of raising a tropical fruit plant in the Northern or Southern most latitudes expecting it to grow. Sometimes we have to change our environment to manifest what we desire. For the tropical fruit tree environment, we would either need to move towards the equator or build a hot house that can control the environment to simulate a more appropriate climate.

When things do not happen the way we wish, it is not that the universe is not honoring your request. Rather there are things we may need to do to allow our intention to manifest, such as adjust the environment, or adjust exactly what we are asking to make it suitable to the environment. It is only when we make the subconscious factors surrounding what we ask conscious, can we see how the environment and what we are asking to manifest are so integrally related.

If there are these considerations around what we ask to manifest, we will most probably feel or suspect some type of obstacle exists. The key to manifesting anything is to understand the environment in which we are trying to manifest what our desire. We need to remember, energy flows the path of least resistence and sometimes, some environments allow no path of least resistance and we may have to create one.

For obstacles that arise or if for some reason we suspects our psyche is not fertile or open to the intention that we desire to manifest because of subconscious beliefs or pervious experiences that are difficult to dislodge from our memory, we could considered a properly designed ritual, ceremony or metatheater to accompany the manifesting technique to help make the psyche fertile.

In performing a ritual or metatheater will know instantaneously if we are not open to our intention by the feelings that we have. If we feel in any way; an uneasiness, that we don’t truly believe we will get what we request; there is something missing; a thought or image of something that lies in blockage to our request or anything other than the feeling of freely open flowing channels, our psyche is not fertile and we should act to remove the blockage. A properly designed ritual can act sort of like a greenhouse does to grow seeds. When the environment is inhospitable to the seeds we wish to plant, we can always use the controlled atmosphere of the greenhouse to grow the plant.
