It is stated under the Truth in Labeling Topic “Nothing Really
Different” and “The True Hazard - If There Is One” the
creative
principles discussed and introduced within the
Releasing Your
Unlimited Creativity technology and utilized in its approach and
applications will cause us to experience nothing different from what
we already experience someway in our life. The reason for this
statement is that we are already using these creativity principles
in a
nonconscious way. In using the Releasing Your Unlimited
Creativity technology, we are not facing anything new or a new
hazard. Rather we are just experiencing what is already in our life
in a different way, a conscious way. The question really is, “What
lies within our own being that we already experience to some degree
that will surface in a more conscious way that could be perceived as
hazardous and/or frightening?”
Background
(Top)
It needs to be understood,
at the most fundamental levels, Creation
does not work the way our
mind perceives reality. Yet, we keep
trying to force reality to be what we want it to be. The struggle
between what is and
what mind wants and perceives gives rise to much
of ths
pain we face in life. Whether we realize it or not, our
inner world reflects the outer.
Any
true creative endeavor requires us to recreate some aspect of
our inner world and outer world. To some extent, any creative
endeavor requires us to become the
phoenix
in some way. It requires
us to destroy ourselves and rise from our own ashes in the new
creation. It requires the
annihilation of a part of ourselves to
return to the
source/Source of our
being to
free the energy for the new creation. In doing so it will
require us to face the
creative life energy that gives rise to our
life in the nakedness of
truth unfiltered by the past.
The
Releasing Your Unlimited
Creativity material and
understanding
seeks to make the journey into the exploration of
our creativity, or
to create what we desire, as safe and as
gentle as possible.
However, depending on what we desire to create and the energy that
awakens within our being and/or as we explore deeper into the depth
and breadth of our creative power, in particular to face the
thinking addiction of our own
mind, there will be three aspects to
our being that will inevitably arise. Some may have already faced
facets of these three aspects arising in their life.
How we deal with them is our choice. But how we deal with them will
determine if our
creative spirit remains bound or becomes
free to create what it desires and whether or not we access
our truth. Here
again what we will face is not about facing anything new or a new
hazard. Rather, we will be experiencing what is already in our life
in a different, more conscious way. It is about making aspects of
the
nonconscious mind conscious.
Making aspects of the
nonconscious mind conscious can be frightening
for our
mind will not have the requisite
minimum set of experience to be able to deal with what arises.
In essence we have suppressed experiences of life simply because we
had no adequate way of addressing them. If our mind had this minimum
set of experiences, we would not be facing what we now face. We
would have created different experience in life than what we now
experience that brings us to reading this material.
It is here in making aspect of the
nonconscious mind conscious we will probably need to be prepared
to seek counsel from someone with whom we can trust. But it is
recommended whomever is used, they are someone who will also seek to
hold
our creativity sacred and
respects the needs for our
creative spirit to express itself in the
unique way it needs to express itself. To find such counselors, it
is recommended we allow our
intuitive guidance to lead us to the
counselors who can best advise us in these areas if they arise.
Following our
mind will only reinforce the past and
the cage that
currently binds our creative spirit. Remember, the goal is to let
our creative spirit out and not keep it bound.
The three issues we face
(Top)
There is a
proverbial story of five men and some guidance that has
been used in some
mystical traditions concerning these three issue
we face that may help to better understand as to how these issue
have been discussed and addressed in the past.
The story as traditionally told about four men who attempted to
enter and study the world of the
mystic. However, based on what has
been experienced and observed, there is also a fifth man not
discussed in the traditional story. To consciously enter the world
of the mystic is to consciously attempt to journey to the
Source of Creation to access reported untold powers of Creation. To
consciously engage the journey is what gives rise to the story for
mind and
ego are at play. Stumbling into the Source as in the
Ultimate Accident causes different phenomenon to arise with
different results. This
alternative way is the option provided
within the
Releasing Your Unlimited
Creativity material.
In taking the journey to consciously enter the
Source of Creation,
that the
traditional
story reports one man died, one went crazy, one
became an atheist and the fourth become a
mystic. Having danced with
the
mystical side of Creation there is the need for a fifth man. The
fifth man became blinded by what he saw and experienced.
Yet this is not
a
story about five individuals. Rather this story is
about what will happen to each individual who fully embraces their
creative spirt and allows themselves to dance with this spirit. If
we choose to explore the depth and breadth of our creative powers
and dance with the
creative spirit that is released in the process
we will find we will have an experience of what all five men
experienced in some way in our life. What we actually experience
depends on what level of power and ability we seek to access and why
we seek what we do. But to dance what the Source and return, we will
experience all five.
A death
(Top): In undertaking such a journey, the most important thing we
will find is that a part of us will
die. It is inevitable. Namely,
all that we think and believe about ourselves and how Creation works
will die. In particular our past will die. That does not mean we
give up all our past and the knowledge and understanding we have. We
cannot really leave our past. It is always with us. Rather it is we
become a
scarab - the dung beetle and ancient sacred symbol of
Egypt. We take from what is left after we have had our experience of
the Source to use and recycle what is of benefit to our new
understanding about Creation and what we desire to create and we let
the rest go. We do not hold onto what does not
serve us. We die to
our past and continually die to the past of each experience we have.
For a brief moment, we become like the wind and experience true
freedom. As the wind we come with nothing (no
attachments) and
leaving with nothing (no attachements). What we do pick up and
retain is what allows us to form the new creation and a new life
based on the experience of the Source. Our problem, as discussed in
the topic, “The problem of
mind and the experience of the Source of Creation - the trap of mind,” is as long as we are in a human body,
our
mind and the
body holds us to the physical experience based on
the past we have experienced and what we
collectively believe as to
what it means to be human.
A denial
(Top): A part of us will deny what we see and experience.
Mnd is
a product of Creation and of the Source and cannot comprehend and
truly fathom an conscious experience of the Source. We will become
that atheist denying the true
inner and outer Creative Powers of
Creation and how they work for they are too much to be believed.
Once we have experienced even a glimmer as to the true depth and
breadth of
our creativity we will deny it. But we will struggle with
denying it because we know we can’t deny it for we will have felt it
and
we have the feeling imprinted throughout our whole being. We
have seen it and experienced it. The struggle has the possibility of
driving us crazy. We are torn between two worlds. We are pulled to
our past and what our past demands us to believe and the
truth of
what we have accessed is calling you to believe. To stand on one
side we deny what we have found. To stand on the other side you
become a
mystic. We find yourself living in a world of infinite
possibility such that We find ourselves denying the way the world is
living.
Standing between two worlds
(Top): To try and stand between both worlds
only drives us crazy in the eyes of the world and maybe in our own
mind. To survive we find you need to become blind and/or are
blinded. We can no longer see the world as we did. In doing so, we
also become very vulnerable for we no longer respond to the world
the way we once did with the protective response patters we
developed early in life. We are blinded to the
illusion of mind and
no longer see the mask and facade that our mind or the mind of
others puts over the events that occur in front of us. We can see
through events and beyond events. In this blindness we can see
through time and space. We can no longer live in the world as we
once did for we no longer see it the same way. We are in it but not
of it. To survive we need to
learn to dance and build a bridge that
allows us to
freely travel between the two world.
Lessons learned in the three issues
(Top)
Here again, any
creative endeavor will cause us to experience each
of these five conditions to one degree or another. We need not be
afraid of them. We only need to
become aware of the process and why
these conditions arise. The easiest way to do is to realize that we
are a
creative living process continually recreating ourselves
consciously and
nonconsciously . Only now we do so more consciously
than what we have done nonconsciously in the past.
We only need to realize that a part of us is always dying. A part of
us is always denying the
truth of what is. A part of us is always a
little bit crazy when our
mind tells us one thing and our
heart
another. A part of us is always blinded by what we desire to see and
what we want to create. And finally, a part of us is that
mystic in
touch with the source of our creative power and the
Source of Creation.
Traditional compensatory measures
(Top)
There was a way in the past that
was recommended to more or less guarantee sanity and address the
vulnerability we experience when we attempt to access the
mystical
realm that is reflected in
holding
our creativity sacred and exploring the depth and breadth of our own
creative powers. The approach was that before the individual was
allowed to undertake such a journey, since it would be done under
the tutelage of one who was initiated, they were over forty years
old, they were happily married and they were well versed and
schooled in the tradition that was going to guide them into the
mystical realm. The reason for these requirements were to address
the issue of the five men above and the three aspects of one’s being
discussed below.
When one is over forty, they have usually “burned off” the energetic
youthfulness and somewhat naive approach to life. They are a little
more realistic as to what really makes one happen and what life is
all about. They have already worked through many of the
disillusionments about life and have faced the mortality of those
around them. They are a little wiser and more settled as to how to
use the energy and understanding that they access.
Being happily married may or may not be obvious. The
creative life energy that one accesses in exploring the depth and breadth of their
creative power will enthuse our entire being and our body. Most
probably that infusion of energy will cause us to feel sexual
arousal. Having a compatible spouse would allow us to act on the
energy we feel sexually even when that particular path and
expression of the energy may not be the proper way to align with the
flow of energy.
It needs to be noted here that sexual energy is the energy of
creation/Creation. Sexual energy permeates all of creation/Creation
for it is the
creative tension between the
masculine and
feminine
aspects of being which allow for the generation of a flow of energy.
Energy flows as a result of the separation of opposite polarities as
in a battery which generates an electric current. The opposite
polarities must be plugged together to generate the current or flow
of energy. Without the connection there is no flow of energy. The
which is plugged into the other is referred to as the masculine
aspect. The act of plugging into opposite polarity is the masculine
thrust into creation to cause the
generation of energy for creation.
That which is plugged into or receives the connection is
traditionally called the feminine aspect. The
feminine act is to
nurture and sustain the creation and is the flow of energy that
animates and gives life to the creation/Creation. The
masculine act
is to cause creation/Creation. The feminine act is to nurture the
Creation.
To choose to create is to plug into the Source is a the conscious
act and
masculine thrust. Feeling the energy that is released when
the Source is tapped and feeling it enthuse our entire being and
body is the feminine. It is something to which we must
surrender
or
we destroy the connection to the Source. In this process both the
masculine and feminine are annihilated for the separation between
them disappears as the energy contained in their separation is
dissipated in animating the creation that is produced by the
joining. Hence a
death of some form will always accompany the
joining of the masculine and feminine and the creation of a new
creation.
From a
creativity perspective
and
holding
our creativity sacred the
mental choice of choosing celibacy because of the sexual feelings
that arise can become damaging to what we wish to create. To access
the depth and breadth of our creative powers and creative abilities
requires is to flow with the energy or otherwise we break the
connection with the Source. We cannot deny it unless we wish to
change what it is flowing to manifestation. If the energy flowing
within our being causes us to become sexual, denying the sexuality
denies the flow of energy. Rather, we will have to go to our
intuitive guidance and see how we need to act on the energy.
An important comment needs to be made here. We cannot fool the
energy. If we want to experience the sexuality and do not go to
and/or do not follow the guidance of our intuition we will be
denying the flow of energy just as much as if we did not act on the
energy. We will change the outcome and what is manifested. If the
universe wants us to be celibate for a certain reason, then celibacy
will enter our life and there is nothing we can do about it. For one
reason or another a partner will be unavailable to us no matter what
we do to try and do to get one. And, if we do get one, it will not
work out for we will be satisfying a want of the
mind and
surrendering to what is required.
It needs to be clearly understood that what we do sexually is
integral to our
creative power and creative ability. It is not about whether
or not we are sexual with an individual. Rather it is about why we
are sexual and what we are creating in the sexuality. More
discussion on this topic is found under the web site “Sexuality and
Creativity” at
http://sexuality.andcreativity.info.
The third item of being well schooled and versed in the tradition is
also related to being happily married. Being well schooled and
versed in a given tradition helps to ensure the energy that is
releases is controlled and channeled in a way the tradition is what
controlled. By following the tradition, the tradition uses the
energy as the tradition desires and not the individual or the
individual’s
creative spirit. Although what is possible with the
energy is greatly reduced, the tradition maintains control and does
offer the individual some control over feeling crazy and/or feeling
they are without support. It is very difficult to do the journey
alone. The tradition offers a way to take the journey and be
supported.
Suggested compensatory measures
(Top)
The problem with the traditional approach is that it the tradition
captures and controls the
creative spirit and the energy that is
released. It directs that energy and spirit into its purpose rather
than what the Universe had in
mind when it created that creative
spirit or the flow of energy that the creative spirit is now
experiencing. No matter how noble the tradition claims to be it
imposes itself between the Source and Its creation as manifested in
the creative spirit tapping the Source. One implication of this is
an individual will never fully be able to access the depth and
breadth of their creativity if they function within a tradition, any
tradition. Accessing and releasing our
unlimited creativity is a
solo journey and we must live true to the flow of energy and how it
needs to be expressed.
It needs to be realized there is a
wisdom within the
creative spirit
and it does know what it is doing. However,
mind needs to learn to
listen to it can it can’t when it is too busy listening to others.
This wisdom is not age dependent, relationship dependent or
tradition dependent. It knows what it needs to experience. Mind
thinks it is wiser but it is not. Mind only knows the past. This
creative spirit knows past, present and future and is simultaneously
aware of all of them. It knows why it exists and what it is here to
do transformed into a body. It is only a matter of how this
creative spirit is focused as to what it creates. A
creativity perspective
will help mind to step outside itself and not interfere with the
journey. A creativity perspective can also provide the type and kind
of support we will find within any given tradition. All we really
need to do is ask the Universe in whatever way we wish to lead us to
someone or have someone enter our life who can support our journey
in whatever way it is needed yet not hold us bound in any way. We
need to ask the Universe to provide us with
dream midwife and
dream
nanny although the individual who provides such assistance may not
realize the role they play.
The
creative spirit within our being is more than capable of guiding
us no matter what our age. The recommendation and approach taken
within the
Releasing Your Unlimited
Creativity material is to direct
us to our own inner wisdom and allow it to guide our life as to how
to use the energy that we access. We already experience and use this
energy some way in our life for it is what sustains our being and
all that us do. All we are doing is accessing more of it in a more
conscious way. We are only now making conscious what we have been
using
nonconsciously. The recommendation is we face the three
aspects below in a conscious way and follow our
intuitive guidance
to as to how to use the energy that we access.
Facing the “dark” side
(Top)
The first aspect will be our “dark” side. That is, those aspects of
our being that have never been fully brought to the light of our
awareness. They are not evil or bad and should not be judged as
such. They just need to be understood as the inevitable opposite of
the
duality of Creation. The understanding that is needed here is
that any judgement we hold about anything has an opposite. Whatever
we hold as good has its opposite that we judge as evil or bad. We
cannot hold any judgement about anything without creating its
opposite. To hold a judgement of good, means that within our being
is the opposite, just unexpressed.
It needs to be realized that given a different set of life
circumstances we could be the full expression of the opposite we
hold. Otherwise, we could not hold the judgments that we do. It is
very sobering to understand that whatever we hold as the most
despicable action lies inside of us and that we are fully capable of
being that which we hold as despicable. This is the real reason why
Christ said, “Love your enemy” for our enemy lies inside us and we
have to learn to love that “dark” side and work with the creative
power it holds bound in the tension of the opposites. To become a
conscious creator, we need to be a ware of, and able to work with
both sides of the duality. Until we are willing to face this fact,
our
creative spirit will remain bound and captive by our own beliefs
and judgements.
Rather than being able to dance with the opposite and move
freely,
we will force the opposite to remain fixed for we do not face it. It
is like being tied to a stake with a chain that goes around our
neck. If we hold the stake in our hand, we are free to go wherever
we wish even though were tied to it by a chain that goes around our
neck. However, if we fix that stake into the ground and refuse to
face its existence, we are limited by the length of the chain. We
are no longer free to go where we wish and do what we want. The more
we pull on the chain rather than embrace the duality the more we
strangle our life.. This is what we do with our
creative spirit by
holding the dualistic judgements that we do. The more you hold to
our judgements, the more we strangle the free flow of this creative
spirit that gives us life. When we are not willing to face the
opposite of our judgement, we are binding our creative spirit and
limiting our own creative power.
Reevaluating misfortune
(Top)
The second accident will be reevaluating accident, illness, disease
and misfortune in our life. There is an energy or energies that bind
our
creative spirit and hold it within its present form. As we begin
to
free this spirit, the energy will flow and
must be dissipated. It
will flow the
path of least resistance. Unless we are willing to
work with the energy and use our
intuitive guidance to create a way
to direct the energy in the
safest and gentlest way, it can manifest
as an
accident, illness or disease or misfortune. Here again, if we
are faced with one or more of these painful conditions, we should
look at the
pain that arises around these life events to see what is
being communicated by the pain and where the root of the pain
originates. We need to ask our intuitive guidance, “Why this pain
and what where does it come from?” We should also
pull the string on
any answer or insight we get to see how and why we create the that
cause.
Learning to flow
(Top)
The third aspect is related to the
free flow of our
creative spirit
either when a significant blockage is removed or this creative
spirit has been
called to come out to come into the world by an
inner or outer calling. An inner calling is when something inside us
pulls you to act. An outer calling is when something external to us
calls us to act. When an inner calling and outer calling exist
simultaneously we can expect our world as we know it will be
destroyed by the flow of energy generated for both sides of the
duality that created our existing world are being released. Each is
moving to meet the other.
When our
creative life energy begins to flow
freely within our
being, it will enthuses our entire being with a life giving energy
and a desire for life. We will be enthused by the same life giving
energy that brought us into the world. It will most probably feel
sexual even if our sexual organs are not necessarily functional for
the feeling arises from a flow of the incredible life giving
creative energy within our being.
In many ways the kundalini rising
in the Eastern
mystical literature is a description of the release
of this
creative spirit and subsequent flow of energy. But
creatively it is much more than what is described in this mystical
literature and what people experience and call the kundalini rising.
If the creative and life giving aspect of the kundalini rising were
understood there would be no attempt to direct and attempt to
control the energy as the literature describes and/or as directed by
a guru or teacher. Rather we would allow, and/or be advised to
allow, the energy to flow freely into what the creative spirit
desires to experience. We would be advised to
surrender
to the
energy and allow our
intuitive guidance to guide our action knowing
full well the direction our intuitive guidance provides as to the
direction we need to move is correct but the thought or image
mind
present as that intuitive guidance is not necessarily correct.
This seeming inaccuracy in the
intuitive guidance received would
appear to lead to
mistakes and can cause individuals to often go
after the incorrect aspect of the intuitive guidance. That is, to go
after the image as opposed to the direction of the image. However,
it needs to be remembered there are no mistakes in a
truly creative endeavor. A truly creative endeavor takes you into the unknown.
There are only learning experience. We learn what does and does not
work to create what we desire as we gain that
minimum set of requisite experience as to what needs to be done. Mistakes can only
be made against known information and what is know is always of the
past. Mistakes cannot be made in a truly creative endeavor.
This energy needs to be allowed to pursue its own path and not be
controlled by
mind. If it comes out sexually, it must not be controlled or
held captive by our mind or the mind of another about what sexuality
represents and/or how it needs to be acted upon. We will need to go
to our
intuitive guidance to see how to work with this
energy. As discussed under the topic of the “Metaphoric Nature of
Creation,” the fact mind interprets the sexual feelings as the
need to have sex may or may not be correct. Additionally the
individual with whom you think we need to engage may only be the
best image our mind has as to who that individual may be. Often the
person that mind presents is not who we think it is and/or the image
of the person we have is only calling forth that aspect of our own
being for us to embrace. It is not uncommon that image of the ideal
mate mind presents, whether this person is real or not, is only the
suppressed aspect of our own being that you need to embrace. If we
study the creative process, we will come to see our ideal mate as is
presented in the “A
Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective”
lies within our being and if there is one in front of us, it is all
of it - the entire world we see. A way to understand this phenomenon
is provided by the topic, “Origins of Creation” and “The observer -
observed pair and the nature of duality.”
The flow of energy
mind is characterizing will not necessarily be
carrying us towards sex although it may appear to be so. Rather the
flow of energy is about creating a new life within, and for, us.
Exactly how that new life needs to be created and how to act on the
feelings we has, can be properly understood by accessing and using
our
intuitive guidance. In fact, this is why we have the ability to
have intuitive guidance - to guide our actions into and through the
energy we sense. To do this of course requires us to know how to
access our intuitive guidance let alone know how to follow its
advice. The recommendation is to develop confidence in our intuitive
guidance before we attempt to access the depth and breadth of
our creativity.
Two generic statements can be made here about the sexual feelings
that may arise relative to the release of this
creative spirit. If
the flow of energy that is creating a new life within us actually
leads us to sexual relationships with another individual, we can be
assured it is the
offspring between us and the other individual that
is important. It does not matter if the offspring is a physical
child, some other type of physical creation or a spiritual, mental
or emotional offspring. There will be an offspring and it is the
offspring that is important. It is that offspring that will give the
new life within us. If we deny the offspring that is created in any
way and/or somehow refuse it, we will cause the creative spirit that
created that offspring to wither and die. That is, we will
essentially kill that creative life within our being and it will
seem to leave us requiring that part of us to be reawakened at some
point in the future.
The reason for this is quite simply. In denying the
offspring we
deny the
creator/Creator and the wisdom that creator/Creator had in
creating the offspring. Hence we cause the
creative spirit within
our own being to withdraw for we deny its wisdom. The other generic
statement is that if our
mind thinks that having sex will satisfy
the desire of this creative spirit which gives rise to sexual
feeling and those feeling can be satisfied by sexuality, we will be
very disappointed.
Sexuality is a
creative tool and/or a way to go back to the
Source of Creation to create a new life at each and ever level of being.
Seeking sexuality for the pleasure it provides and/or as a
distraction from the
pain of life will only result in an
addiction.
It will bind and hold our
creative spirit captive. Only in embracing
the life, the
offspring that is created at and whatever level of
being that life is created that comes as a result of the sexuality,
will the creative spirit remain
free. Paradoxical as it may sound
that the burden of an offspring for which we need to care would give
freedom to the creative spirit but it is nevertheless true. The
phenomenon of the burden of an offspring not binding our creative
spirit arises from holding our creative and our creative spirit
sacred, including what it desires and does create.
How
freedom is provided to the
creative spirit in nurturing an
offspring is that the offspring allows the
feminine nurturing aspect of the creative spirit to be fulfilled and fully expressed in its
role. The
masculine aspect of the creative spirit is achieved in
thrusting out into the world true to itself. The feminine aspect is
fulfilled when it is allowed to nurture its desired creation, not
the creation of another or others. That is, the creation that comes
from the marriage of the
inner masculine aspect thrusting true to
itself and the
inner feminine aspects being true to itself to
nurture the
offspring of the inner masculine and inner feminine.
This offspring then becomes
our gift to the world. This offspring is
the embodiment of the
dream of our heart, the
heart’s desire, and is
one if not the
reason for our incarnation and purpose for being
here. As with any birth, often a midwife or its equivalent is
necessary and someone like a nanny to help and protect that
offspring until it is strong enough to stand on its own feet in the
world.
The energy must be allowed to flow into what the
creative spirit
desires to create. This creative energy needs to be directed back
into supporting the desires of the creative spirit and not be use
for other purposes no matter how honorable we think these other
purposes may be. It also needs to be noted, the flow of this
creative life energy toward a specific end that our creative spirit
desires which gives rise to sexual feelings to create can happen
more than once in one’s life. In fact, it is this aspect of the
creative spirit that gives rise to many of the issues individuals
face around sexuality and their existing relationship(s). This
creative energy giving rise to sexual feelings can happen almost as
often as we desire but we will need to
surrender
to its flow and not
what mind wants or otherwise the creative spirit will become bound
and slowly wither and die. Individuals become puzzled as to why
their interest in a mate evaporates. It is only because
mind steps
in and does not embrace the reason why the two individuals are
brought together and allow the energy to flow in the way it needs to
flow to address what originally give rise to the flow of energy.
Ending summary
(Top)
The way we need to deal with these areas will be unique to our own
being and the nature of our
mind and what it thinks and believes. It
has been observed there are three things that can make our journey
easiest and gentler. One is to develop a
creativity perspective that
addresses understanding the creative process and the addictive
nature of the
mind to hold our
creative spirit bound to the past. Understanding the addictive
nature of mind will require us to explore why we are being pulled to
any one experience we have and be willing to explore its
metaphoric nature. For any experience we have, whether it be an
experience of our dark side, an
accident or illness, a resurrected unexplainable sexual passion
or a pleasurable/euphoric experience, we need to
pull the string on why this experience as opposed to any other.
The second is to
hold
our creativity sacred. The third is to understand and learn to
use and trust our
intuitive guidance to guide us in the exploration of the depth
and breadth of
our creativity.
