Fear of responsibility relative to our creativity and our creative endeavors can appear in several different ways. The most obvious way is that when we are responsible for what happens in our life, we have no one to blame but ourselves. When we are faced with pain and suffering, it is very hard to accept the fact that we somehow created or agreed to participate in the experience we have. Although we become a victim when someone else is responsible for what we experience, nevertheless, there is a comfort in the fact that when something goes wrong we are not to blame. Or, if we do not like something we can blame someone for creating it. However, when we are responsible for what we create, we are the one’s that must change and take the appropriate corrective action. When we are responsible our life suddenly become a little more difficult and challenging.

The best way to deal with this aspect of the fear of responsibility is to accept it and begin to look for way to create something which better serves us. The more we resist accepting it, the greater the anxiety we will create for ourselves. The sooner we accept responsibility the faster we can being to find our way out.

The other way fear of responsibility arises is that when we realize we are responsible for creating what we experience, we normally do not know how we have created the experience we have. We then become afraid we will not remember how to break ourselves free.

For the creator to have the experience of their creation, there is the need to forget how they created it. The reason for this if we like a certain part of the creation and/or dislike another part, we will end up creating a very narrow set of experience and end up binding ourselves to the past in a way that becomes very difficult to break free. When we forget we are the creator and how we created the experience we have it is much easier to just flow with the experience and experience the full depth and breadth of what we have created.

In having fear arise in realizing we are responsible for what we have created and we do not remember how we created it, we simply need to remember we are an infinite creative being. We can create anything we desire including recreating what we now face to something which better serves us. We just need to remember Physical Creation is designed to have creations grown and unfold. There is relatively little instantaneous creation in Physical Creation. Everything takes time even explosive situations like volcanoes and earthquakes that seem to progress on a much faster path take time to develop. As long as we are in Physical Creation, we will need to play by the rules of Physical Creation and grow our creations.
