Returning to the Source
Returning to the Source in our creative endeavors
Using the masculine to access the Source of Creation
Transforming the masculine aspect to access the Source of Creation
When contemplating any aspect of
creation/Creation,
it must be remember that there is a balance in Creation. There is an
oscillation around a centeredness and calmness. All Creation is an
ebb and flow. Each ebb and flow oscillates around a center point
to maintain balance. However there are ebb and flows within ebb and
flows and there are
layers upon layers to all these oscillations. Creation is
overall dance of oscillations within oscillations. It is much like
the way music is created by a large orchestra. However, the
source for any creation is the
Source of Creation.
All arises out of the same unformed aspect of creation/Creation.
What determines whether we experience the source of our creation or
the Source of Creation is the focus of our attention and awareness
when we return to the
source/Source
and the intention we hold in our creative endeavors.
Any creative effort requires a return to the
source/Source
of
creation/Creation
to create that new and previously unseen, not previously experienced
creation. Any creative endeavor requires some part of the existing
form to be dissolved to be reformed into a new creation. This place
of dissolution has been described as the
Cauldron of Creation and often we experience the
Chaos of Creation as the current form dissolves to be recast
into the new. To return to the Source is to return to that
pool of pure potentiality, that pool of infinite possibility
where
we can cause any “cutout”
to come into existence. These are moment when all is possible
without limitations of the past.
To access the depth of our creative potential we must return to the
source/Source
of our being. It is to go back to that place where all form is
annihilated and only unbounded free energy exists. We are
multidimensional beings. In actually we return to the
source/Source at some level within our being whenever we create
whether we realize it or not. It is the place from which all the
energy for any creation flows. Normally we never notice it unless we
are engaging in a creation that significantly changes our live at
every level of our being.
In many ways
creation/Creation
is like
how we walk. We go into and out of balance and never notice we
do. Similarly, we go into and out of the
source/Source
of creation/Creation all the time and never notice we do it.
Whenever we allow an aspect of ourselves to be
annihilated within the masculine feminine merging process of
creation we have an experience of the
Source of Creation
and the Source of Life. The question is whether or not we are
consciously aware of that fact and use it to the maximum potential.
Returning to the Source in our creative endeavors
(Top)
What is interesting is that we can
use our creative endeavors to return to a conscious experience of
the Source by shifting our consciousness through the intention we
hold. To access the source is ultimately to use the
feminine creative aspect to access the
source/Source
of
creation/Creation
through the flow of energy it creates. We can do this by creating
conditions favorable for the
Ultimate Accident.
What we do will not necessarily create a conscious experience of the
source/Source, but we will significantly increase the conditions for
the Ultimate Accident occurring. It is the Ultimate Accident which
allows for the experience of the source/Source.
To use the
feminine to create conditions favorable for an experience of the
source/Source
of
creation/Creation,
there is an iterative
dance we will need to learn to do
between our inner masculine and inner feminine. How to begin to
understand how to do this dance is discussed in the topics on the
inner masculine,
inner feminine
and the
marriage of the inner masculine and inner feminine. How to
actually use the feminine aspect to return to the source/Source is
discussed in the topic “Returning
to the source/Source through the feminine.” Using the feminine
to access the source/Source requires
surrender
and freely and readily
stepping out of the control of mind. However for most of us need
to transform the
masculine
aspect of our being before we can really surrender to the
creative process.
Using
the masculine to access the Source of Creation
(Top)
One question that often arises is,
“Why do we need to transform the
masculine
- why can’t we use the masculine aspect of
creation/Creation
to return to the
source/Source?”
That is, why can’t we use our
mind and the
masculine thrust which arises from mind to do what mind thinks
to consciously experience the source/Source of creation/Creation.
The answer is quite simply is that nature role of the masculine is
to separate from the source/Source to create an experience of
creation/Creation. Whatever we creation with mind is to move from
the source/Source into creation.
The
masculine thrusts into creation and is embodied in the
mind. It is the
masculine
act to thrust out from the
source/Source
for the intended purpose of experiencing
creation/Creation
and allow consciousness to obtain what it desires. The masculine act
is a pushing away from the source/Source of creation/Creation. The
feminine act is the return flow of the energy separated from the
source/Source back to the source/Source. By aligning with the flow
of energy and aligning with the feminine to nurture it
creation/Creation we can be carried back to the source/Source. This,
in turn, increases the probability of experiencing the
Ultimate Accident
to consciously experience the source/Source.
This is why
meditation and related practices like yoga don’t give most
people the depth of the experience they desire. They are powerful
techniques to create
a variety of states of being. However, a conscious experience of
the
Source of Creation
is not one of them. The intention we hold and the meditation type
practice is a focus of our attention and awareness and will increase
the probably of the
Ultimate Accident.
But it will not create a conscious experience of the
source/Source
of
creation/Creation
of itself.
This is simply because to mentally hold anything is a thrust out
from the
source/Source.
What is created when an experience is had through meditation or yoga
is
mind's idea of what such an experience should be based on the
experiences mind has had. But this is not exclusive to meditation or
yoga. This is true for anything created by mind. Mind by its very
nature is to thrust out from creation. Only when we are totally
out of mind
do we open ourselves to a conscious experience of the source/Source
of Creation. Of course, what we remember about the conscious
experience of the source/Source is discussed in the topic, “The
Problem of Mind and the Experience of the Source of Creation - the
Trap of Mind.”
Transforming the masculine aspect to access the Source of Creation
(Top)
Transforming the
masculine
aspect to access the
Source of Creation
is to learn how to use the
mind to create the experience of the Source. In essence it is to
transform the mind and become the
phoenix. It is in the process of creating the phoenix that we
pass through the Source.
To access our creative potential we must return to the Source of our
being, back to that place where all form is annihilated and only
unbounded free energy exists. We can do this for any aspect of our
being. We will need to do this for any aspect of being the wish to
recreate. For the
masculine,
this requires that it must transforms itself into the
feminine. That is, the masculine must become the reverse of what
it is to annihilate itself.
This means the thoughts and beliefs we hold, that
masculine thrust into the fabric of Creation, that caused the
world to exist as we know it and experience it need to be either
destroyed or somehow bypassed, or stepped beyond. The
feminine aspect which is holding and sustaining the form created
by the
masculine,
must be released to create an empty space for new understanding, a
new set of thoughts to form.
In essence this is the
inner dance between that
inner masculine
and
inner feminine
which bring both to maturity and a
marriage of the mature inner masculine and mature inner feminine.
The
masculine
must learn to relinquish control and
surrender
and hold the space and provide the nourishment for the
feminine aspect of its being, its heart, or the energy aspect of
our being. It is to create the
safe and secure space to manifest the freedom of our being to
flow into the form our
creative spirit desires as reflected in our inner feminine and
what the
heart desires.
Here we have a choice. We can allow our
intuitive guidance and
body wisdom to surface and then hold what surfaces with our
mind to form a new creation. This is the true
surrender
of the
masculine
to become the
feminine. Or one can insert a new thought that we wish to
manifest. In either case, we returns to the Source of Being, that
place of unmanifested energy in that moment. The choice is to create
with that energy or go to a deeper level of our being through our
intuitive guidance and body wisdom.
This
surrender
of the
masculine
must occur at every level of our being. There are desires at each
and every level of our being that can carry us back to the Source of
our being. There are things and experiences we desire spiritually,
mentally, emotionally and physically that are needed to nourish and
fulfill the needs of our
creative spirit. These are not desires and wants of the
mind. These desires and wants arise from the flow of energy that
sustains us and what gives us life.
It needs to be remembered, each desire arises out of an
ebb and flow and the flow is only a manifested thought. As we
release these thoughts and
surrender
to those deep desires we reclaim more and more of the Source within
our being. If we surrender to our
intuitive guidance and
body wisdom at each of those levels the
feminine is allowed to surface. The feminine aspect of our
being, the heart, the
passion of the heart, and the flow of the energy itself, must
exert control and lead the us. This flow of
creative life energy which gives rise to our
creative spirit speaks thorough the intuition and body wisdom.
This is a
dance of the masculine and
feminine that must become balanced around an internal
centeredness if we are going to become the conscious creator of our
experiences and their reality. In centering our selves
stepping out of mind
and following our
intuitive guidance we balance the flow of energy within our
being. If we enter a place of calmness such as using the
pool meditation or similar technique and thrust a new thought
for a new creation without first allowing our intuitive guidance to
lead we binds our energy and slowly erodes our own creative powers.
If the
masculine
aspect of our being reflected by our
mind is unwilling to
surrender
and become the
feminine by nurturing the
inner feminine,
the depth and breath of one’s creative powers will not be
obtainable. It is only in a true balance of the masculine and
feminine at each and every level of being do we access all that is
possible.
Additionally, it needs to be clearly understood, this
dance between the masculine and
feminine aspects of being is independent of the sex of the
individual. Here again the
masculine
is the thrusting portion of our being and we can have a
masculine thrust at any level of our being. The masculine aspect
that needs to
surrender
depends on what aspect of our being that needs to be transformed. It
does not depend on whether that masculine aspect is in a male
physical body or a female physical body.
From a creativity perspective even the sex organs of the body are
neither male nor female. The male organ, as the female organ, can be
used in a
masculine
way or a
feminine
way. This is an extremely important point. The body, as the sex
organs, are tools for an experience. They of themselves are only
cells and tissues arranged to perform a biological function no
different that the brain, the eye or the ear. The masculinity and
femininity arise in how they are used.
In terms of transformation, an aggressive
masculine
female will have to become a nurturing
feminine female just as much as an aggressive male will need to
do so. Similarly the male will need to learn to use his organs in a
feminine way, that is to nourish another, and the female will need
to learn to use here organs in a masculine way to thrust out to
create what we desire. In the end, each will need to dance between
both ways to preserve balance.
In this transformation, the
masculine
must lose its desire to thrust out into the world so that it can
nurture and sustain the world as it is. This in itself becomes a
problem. For when the masculine becomes content with what is, it
loose much of its desire to create. The masculine is not
emasculated. Rather there is a
calmness and centeredness that is stronger than its desire.
However, given a rise in dissatisfaction, it will create
aggressively and passionately with full creative power. An
emasculated masculine cannot and does not have the power to
recreate itself when dissatisfied. It has give its power away. This
in fact, is what many traditions, social, religious, or otherwise,
do in that they emasculate the masculine aspects of our being.
There is a problem that the
masculine
aspect of being faces as a result of the interconnectedness of
reality. The masculine aspect is about thrusting its desires into
the Creation. This is about making thoughts manifest and changing
the flow of Creation into some new from desired by the masculine.
However, all the energy of Creation is either in form or flowing
into an existing form as a result of all the other choices made by
all the other masculine aspects of being. The problem for the
masculine is that it is the part of Creation that causes the
sacrifice to occur. The masculine is what disturbs
creation/Creation.
As a result, nobody really loves it for it represent change and a
disruption of what is. Rather, beings seek a
nurturing feminine presence.
The
natural thrust of the masculine is to cause change. In this
regard, the masculine aspects of being are not accepted for what
they are and two things result. One is for a dominate masculine to
arise and
creatively emasculate the other surrounding males aspects even
if they are one’s own offspring. Similarly, the
feminine uses it powers to get the masculine to do what it wants
so that its safety and security is ensured. Most, especially the
feminine aspect of being since it give so much of herself in the
creative effort, wants safety and security. She wants to live in
that
warm and fuzzy, safe comfortable space that we felt early in
life cuddled close to our nurturing mother.
The
masculine
is wanted more for the security and safety they can provide or as a
tool for entertainment, diversion, helping the mundane of life to go
by. Rarely are they wanted for the changes they bring. This plays
out in the human male and female dynamics in that even for the women
who are aware, many cannot accept the men for who they are and let
them be free to create in the way they need. Rather, they have to
change them. But this drama is not about men or women. The external
world is a reflection of our internal world.
We as humanity have learned to
emasculate the inner masculine and do not accept it and the
changes it brings in our life. Rather than follow the lead of our
own being where our
inner masculine
would nurture our
inner feminine
to maturity, we have created a world where we follow the lead of
those external to us no matter what they ask. We learn to follow the
lead of the external world whether it be to deny one’s creativity
and follow as told or to march off to war for some “higher” cause.
Rather, we must first learn how to desire from the heart before we
can appreciate the need to
surrender
to the desire of the heart within their own being.
Yet this
dance between the masculine and
feminine does not end. It will continue to occur and be required
for as long as Creation exists. It is the dance between the
masculine and feminine and the tension they create which fuels
creation/Creation.
There will always be a tension created by the
masculine
aspect of being and its desire.
What this dance looks like will depend on what we are trying to
create and who, if anyone, we are trying to create and bring into
our life. Of course, it is always easier to create alone. Yet we
need others to reflect back who we are and to awake ourselves to
aspects of our being we would otherwise not reveal. It needs to be
remembered all of us are an individual unique facet of creation
which arises as described in the
Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective. The appearance of
others in our life is only the awakening of that facet of our own
being within ourselves reflected externally. If we allows ourselves
to play in this
dance between the masculine and the
feminine within our own being, in the spontaneous and innocent
childlike play of discovery and exploration of Creation and the
creative/creation process, we open ourselves up to the
Ultimate Accident.
In doing so we can come to the understanding where we come to see
Creation and reality for what they really are, Consciousness at Play
with itself.
