Sex is a tool for creating life

All are probably aware the primary function of sex is to procreate the human species. It is about creating human life. Because it can be very pleasurable, many engage in it for its pleasures. However, few are aware that sex creates life at every level of our being. The bottom line statement about sex and sexuality is that they are about creative life. Whether we realize it or not and whether or not a biological offspring is created, energetically there is a life, a flow of energy, that gets created in sexuality all the time. Sexuality causes a flow of energy to be generated within each individual and between the individuals. Internally, that flow of energy as a life giving energy is a healing energy and can help heal long wounded parts or our being. Externally the life that is created is the life we now live in the external world and the life we now share with or because of the other.

Because sex is about creating life an any level of our being, we should to be surprised if a powerful sexual experience results in some type and kind of healing. Healing have been observed at the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical level of being. Many would argue that there were other conditions or circumstances which caused the healing. This point will not be argued. It is just recommended that one carefully observe how a person and their life changes as a result of a sexual interaction. It may be difficult to see at first but if one is able to look at in individuals inner world to see how it is being reflected externally, the impact of sex is much greater than most have ever imagined. In particular it will be observed that the creative power of sex is much greater that procreation and it pleasurable aspects.

With in the energy consciousness understanding of Creation, any flow of energy can be see to as life. Consciousness is seen as a flow of energy which has awaken to the awareness of existing. It is experienced as the awareness of itself and/or it surrounding. The awareness is independent of the particular flow of energy but it nevertheless awakens as a result of the flow of energy. Without the movement in the flow of energy there is nothing to observe.

Feeling is what makes us feel alive and without a flow of energy to feel, nothing moves, nothing changes. There is no life without a flow of energy. Life lies in feeling. We can be seen as a flow of energy which has awaken to its own existence in the form of a human body. Our life which animates our body can be seen a flow of a creative life energy or as a creative spirit. It all depends on whether or not our awareness views from the perspective of energy or as consciousness. What this means is that any new flow of energy within our being can be seen and experienced as a new life. Practically, it does make sense.

When we have the energy and passion to do something we act to make it happen. We can experience as something as simple as awakening to a new flavor of ice cream. In having an awareness of this new flavor and liking it, we find the energy and passion to go and get more. Our life becomes different simply a result of awakening to a new aspect of Creation. We can say we have recreated our life, become possessed by this new flavor of ice cream, or we simply have a new life with the realm of this new world/Creation. Or, we can say a flow of energy in the form of this particular flavor of ice cream entered our life and awakened us to its existence. Doesn’t matter what we call it or how we describe it. A part of our consciousness has awaken, we have become aware of something new and we access a flow of energy and passion to go get it.

Sexuality is about energy generation. The creative tension between the masculine and feminine aspects of creation/Creation will create a flow of energy that can be experienced as a new life. It creates life in several different ways. Whether we realize it or not, whether or not a biological offspring is created, energetically there is a life, a flow of energy, that gets created in sexuality. Sexuality causes a flow of energy to be generated within each individual and between the individuals.

First there is the offspring of the joining and the life that is created between the two individuals. Then there is the joining of the inner masculine and inner feminine in each individual. This gives rise to the passion and flow of energy generate in each individual. Life arise from a flow of the energy. The flow of energy which arise as a result of sex is a new life and can become a life unto itself. As an individuated flow of energy that flow of energy is a consciousness unto itself. It can be experiences as a new life within each which can be experienced as a new perspective on life, a new way of being in the world or the having the energy to act in the world to create something new. It this regard, sexuality is very much about awakening and we experience any awakening as a new life within our being for we now have the awareness to live differently.

The life that is created can and will have a life of its own. If we do not nourish that life it will die but also a part of us dies with it. The issue of sex is about bringing life into existence either into the world and/or into our being. Whether or not we recognize that life doesn’t matter. It happens. If our relationship nourishes the life created within ourselves, the other individual and the life between us as result of the relation, we will find an expansion within our being. If we do not nourish them, we will find a contraction and shrinking in some aspect or part of our being if not every part of our being.

When we are enthused with this flow of this life giving energy of sexuality it has a way of creating a flow of energy capable of flushing out of our being that which does not serve life. Sex has a way of awakening and bringing the waters of life to dead, dormant or inactive part of our being at each an every level of our being including what we call the spiritual level to resurrect parts of our being that have been suppressed and/or repressed from past painful experiences of this life and what many call past lives. It is the ability of sex to put us in touch with the Source of Creation and what we call the spiritual which gave rise to such traditions as Tantra.

Whether we realize it or not, most human sexuality is driven by a mixture of biology and a creative act by consciousness. It is just that more often than not, humans tend to see the physical offspring as the desired creation or physical pleasure rather than the new energetic life that comes with the sexuality. If we are able to be mindful and aware of what we feel before, during and after sexuality, and observe the flow of energy within our being, they will know from where the energy originates and what is the desired offspring. In this regard, sexuality can be used for awakening consciousness. As consciousness awakens, there is the creation of a new or different flow of energy. This new and different flow of energy, whatever level of our being on which it awakens can be experienced as a new life or a new aspect to our life or causes us to recreate our life in some way. However, most do observer the flow of energy. Most only pay attention to the feelings and never look to see where the energy is actually flowing or originating and what is actually causing to happen to us or the other.

Most individuals are familiar with the physical sexual passion of wanting to have sex. But that experience is usually solely to propagate physical life and create life within the individual for it desires to sustain itself physically. It will attempt to do so unless when given the opportunity it is controlled.

The desire of our creative life energy is to sustain itself goes well beyond just creating physical life. It is why so many parents look to their children as if they own their children and/or their children are a part of their identity. The reason for this is they see the children as the propagation of their creative life energy as opposed to an expression of life itself, in particular, the propagation of human life. Similarly it is why blood lines are also seen as important to many individuals. It is why blood relatives look to each other as sharing the same life blood.

The desire for life that exists within the flow of our creative life energy goes well beyond any of these concepts to express it. What we will need to do is live passionately creating the reality of our choice but fully letting go within the knowing that we are life itself and life come from within our being and not though any blood lines and genealogy and the life within has something it incarnated to create.

Sexual intimacy with someone causes the energies of each to mix more intensely. Energetically, we become a part of them and they become a part of us. This then controls our creative life energy in two ways. One way is we take on a part of them and that part of them which we take on may or many not free our energy to create what we desire. They may simply act as a parasite sucking our energy rather than allowing the creative energy to freely flow into our desired creation.

Relative to an energy consciousness perspective, we can look at the mixing which occurs in sexuality as us taking on a part of the other person’s energy. Or, we can simply see it as consciousness creating an experience to awaken consciousness such that each awakens an aspect of consciousness in the other that is currently asleep or dormant. That awakened consciousness now look like we absorbed or took on a part of the other’s energy. Either way we look at it is fine for the end result is the same. Similarly, this awaken consciousness can be experienced as a new life within us. Here gain, how we view it is our choice.

It talking about sex creating life it needs to be realized that there is also a death in sex and sexuality. Since sex is about creative life, every experience of sex will require a death of some type. A part of us will die to make room for and to create that new life. Energy can neither be created or destroyed. Some of the existing from of energy needs to be sacrificed as part of the creation process to make room and release the energy for the new creation. There is a cost to be paid from the existing life whether it be physical, spiritual, mental or emotional. Exactly what dies depend on what lies behind why we are engaging in the sexual experience. This is why it is important to have a clear intention as to why we engage in sex. We need to be willing to let die what needs to die. Otherwise we will simply cause ourselves pain. We need to clearly understand, sexuality is tool that can be used to create life (with a subsequent destruction of an existing life) at each and every level of our being.

Sexuality as the life force of creation/Creation is a feeling. It can be directed to create life at any level of being any way we wish. The question is, "What is our intention and focus of our attention and awareness in and/or when using sexuality?" Of course this leads to the questions, "Are you even aware of the life that sexuality can create and with whom do we wish to create life with and why?" And, most importantly, "Do we what the life that is created in the sexuality we feel?"

Sex is not just about creating offspring. It is a tool for creating life. It needs to be remembered we are a flow of energy that has awakened to itself. Any flow of energy can become a life unto itself. Sexuality is about creating or causes flows of energy to come into existence. Well before a male and female engage in sex there is a flow of energy which arises in one or both of the individuals. That flow of energy is a life force and causes the individual who experiences that energy to live their life differently than if had not been experienced. It needs to be realized to suppress the energy and think we are not acting on it is to act on the energy. It is a choice of our consciousness to suppress the energy and/or as aspect or part of our being that is coming forth. Whatever we feel needs to be explored and understood. Whether or not we act on what we feel to ultimately engage in intercourse with another is a complete different issue.

Sexuality is a tool and/or a way to go back to the Source of Creation to create a new life at each and ever level of being. Seeking sexuality for the pleasure it provides and/or as a distraction from the pain of life will only result in an addiction and binds and hold captive our creative spirit. Only in embracing the life, the offspring that is created at whatever level of being that life is created that comes as a result of the sexuality, will the creative spirit remain free. Paradoxical as it may sound that the burden of an offspring for which one needs to care would give freedom to the creative spirit is nevertheless true. But this phenomenon arise from holding our creative and their creative spirit sacred, including what it desires and does create.

How freedom is provided to the creative spirit in nurturing an offspring is that the offspring allows the feminine nurturing aspect of the creative spirit to be fulfilled and fully expressed in its role. The masculine aspect of the creative spirit is achieved in thrusting out true to itself. The feminine aspect is fulfilled when it is allowed to nurture her desired creation. That is, the creation that comes from the marriage of the inner masculine and inner feminine aspects within our creative spirit. That offspring then becomes our gift to the world. And, as with any birth, often a midwife or its equivalent is necessary and someone like a nanny to help and protect that offspring until it is strong enough to stand on its own feet in the world.

The most powerful experience one can have is the sexuality arises spontaneously and one is totally free to act on that sexuality as it arising from the passion that arises from deep within the body and enthuses the entire body during a creative endeavor This can only be experienced when there is a mutually held agreed upon joint intention. This is in fact the reason why marriage works. Marriage falls apart when the either the joint intention is no longer held mutually or there is no joint intention. But this is true in any relationship. This is where the concept of binding aka cords becomes important. Binding aka cord is no more the making conscious and clear and mutually agreed upon joint intention.

If we want to create a space of life or to create a space for someone to experience life and the pleasures of life we will need to become and embody the desire to create life. In this desire, we create the space for a new life to be conceived. That new life will then grow into infant and an adult. In become alive with life and alive with the passion to create life, a fertile space is created for life to be conceived and rekindle the passion of the heart for life, to live and to embrace life.
