Obtaining mindfulness, awareness and the calmness of being for a given task

Whenever one talks about mindfulness, awareness and calmness of being, most individuals will probably think about meditation and/or some meditative type practice. However, those practices will not work in the every day workplace for the type and kind of mindfulness and awareness one needs to have for the task at hand. The key to obtaining mindfulness and awareness in a given task is to do what allows one to align with the flow of their creative life energy and align with the passion of that energy. In doing so, one will be aware and awake as to what is needed in any situation they face in that passion for there is a calmness that arises within one’s being when they are flowing in alignment with the intention for their life. When one functions in alignment with their life purpose, there is a natural calmness that comes with that alignment for the flow of one’s creative life energy is allowed to fully dissipate in the experience one is having. There are no judgments from mind that in any way interfere with that flow and the awareness of what needs to be done. One’s mind is not preoccupied. It is calm. When one is in that alignment and not preoccupied there is mindfulness and awareness as to what needs to be done. When one is in alignment with the intention for their life, they are in their natural expertise.

The traditional ways of obtaining mindfulness, awareness and calmness of being is through a very masculine and controlling way which is to sit and meditate. One meditates to become aware of the thoughts and/or to look to the space and calmness between thoughts. However, that also means we deny flowing with the energy in our being and where it desires to take we. We can’t move to follow the energy if we are going to sit and meditate.

The body does not desire to sit and the evidence exist that the body is made to move and be in movement. To sit and not act, the muscles atrophy. The body maintains it strength in activity. Beside the body is the manifestation of the intention for your life and is the perfect vehicle to fulfill that intention. If we do not flow with the body and its true needs, not what mind think it needs, but the body needs that we know through feeling, we are deny the intention and the creator/Creator that brought us into the world.

To realize to sit and meditate denies the purpose for our incarnation we enter the eternal question, "Do we do what our mind thinks or do we surrender to the flow of energy that created us and sustains our being?" The feminine way to create is to surrender to the flow of energy and ultimately a much more satisfying way to live life. Here one is simply allow the direction of one’s life to be in alignment with the flow of the energy that flows from the source of our being. In this state of being, there is a calmness.

Now it does need to be noted here that we may sit and meditate to gain a mastery over our thoughts and gain some control of mind. What we are talking about here is that to sit and meditate to get a calmness of being and an internal satisfaction is to deny life itself. Rather we are talking about learning how to engage life and yet still have a calmness of being as deep as, or deeper than, we can get in any meditative state. We are talking about being able to be in the world fully engaged in whatever needs to be done but yet still have a calmness of being. When we are aligned with the intention for your life even if you step out of that intention for the sake of exercising our free willto create some particular experience or things, we will retain a calmness of being at least for awhile. The calmness of being is lost in time. The longer we remains outside the intention for our life the less and less calm we will be. Most individuals nonconsciously remain within some proximity of the intention for their life. Yet few really engage that intention and jump into it.
