A note of caution in pursuing the intention for our life

If we explore the creative process, how we create our experiences, and the source of our creative life energy and observe without judgment as a detached witness, what we will come to see, or most probably stumble into, there is an intention for our life. There is something for us to do in and/or with our life and there are experiences we incarnated to have. This intention for our life is the reason for our incarnation.

The intention for our life can be perceived in several different ways depending on how we have focused our attention and awareness. Additionally, because our perception is determined by the focus of our attention and awareness, how we perceive it will influence our actions and our creativity quite differently. The four primary ways we perceive the intention for our life are: as an intention for our life; as a dream within our heart; as the business of our Father as symbolized in the heart; and as an undercurrent or influence on our life that spans the spectrum from magical and supportive to irritating and robbing us of our creative power.

Stumbling into and understanding why there is an intention for our life (Top)

Somewhere in the process of reconstituting our creative life energy to create the reality of our choice, exploring the depth and breadth of our unlimited creativity, and/or returning to creative play, it is inevitable we will stumble on, or into, the intention that lies behind our life and the reason for our incarnation. There are two reasons for this.

The first is that in working with our creativity, we will see there is an influence on our creativity that can only be explained by an intention for our life. If we can take the perspective of a detached witness to explore our creative ability and creative power and hold our creativity sacred, we will come to see and know there is an influence on, or in, our life and what we can create. Sometimes it appears to help us. At other times it appears to hinder us. In any case, what we will find this influence in our life directs us in a particular direction to have certain types and kinds of experiences. If we stand back and see what type and kind of picture is being painted by the individual life experiences we have, we can begin to discern a pattern. Many have attributed this pattern to God or some other Divine entity controlling or directing our life. However, in exploring our creativity, we come to see we have a free will and we can change and/or deviate from the pattern based on how we choose to act or not act based on how and what we think and believe.

The second reason why we have an intention for our life is when we work with this material and see the power of our intentions to create reality, we will come to the conclusion there are no accidents and chance occurrences. The seeming randomness of reality is only the unfocused nature of consciousness in unawareness. The more focused consciousness becomes, the more probable a possibility becomes. If the focus is unbroken, eventually what is held will become a certainty. It is the way we create our experiences and the reality we experience. An intention held becomes physically manifested.

To understand why there is an intention governing our life we only need to realize that energy and consciousness are equivalent forms of the same material of Creation. As discussed under the topic, "Energy an invariant within the creativity perspective," "Interdisciplinary aspect of the Releasing Your Unlimited Creativity technology" and "Energy consciousness - the mud of Creation," energy and consciousness can be seen as one and the same. In this awareness, we find creation/Creation is the result of an unfolding flow of energy determined by the focus of the attention and awareness of consciousness. In that awareness we can also come to see our creative spirit is, synonymous with the flow of creative life energy that sustains us. That is, we are a flow of energy that has awakened to its own existence. As such, the consciousness that we perceive ourselves to be is an energy and as an energy it never dies. It only transforms from one form to another based on what and how it focuses its attention and awareness. It may lie dormant, but never dies. For whatever reason the consciousness that we perceive as to who we are has focused its attention and awareness to transform itself into a creative spirit within the human body we posses in order to have a human physical experience. In this regard, we are the creator of our experiences within Physical Creation.

Why it can be perceived four different ways (Top)

As an individualized consciousness which arises as described in the "Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective," we each carry a unique way of being in the world and experiencing the world. The creative life energy that is flowing into and sustaining our being which is experienced as our creative spirit desires to express itself in its own unique fashion, true to itself. This desire is the intention for our life and can be experienced as a dream we carry in our heart and within our being.

To describe what gives rise to this flow of energy that created and sustains our life as a dream within our heart and the intention for our life are to describe flip sides of a coin. The heart is about feeling and experiencing energy consciousness as a flow of energy. The intention for our life is about the perception of mind and experience energy consciousness as consciousness which has awakened to the existence of itself. They are usually perceived differently but they are one and the same. They just look different for each represents a different focus of our attention and awareness.

When we focus on what we feel and align with the flow of energy within our being, we experience a dream within our heart. When we are focused on what we feel but are unable to live the dream of the heart, we will experience a longing for a beloved/Beloved that can be experienced as a separation and a longing for a soul mate, for the Divine in whatever form we understand the divine, or simply a playmate with whom to share the experience we have. When focused inward on what we feel depending how we shift our perspective we can experience the dance between the masculine and feminine aspects of being or simply the tension of opposites giving rise to the flow of energy to manifest our dream.

When we focus our attention and awareness as the creator of our experiences and the reality we experience, we experience the intention for our life. When we look to some external creator such as God or other Divine Force, we experience the business of our Father. When we remain unaware and do not look carefully at our life, we will experience an unseen influence which, at times seems to be magical in how it empowers us to get what we desire and at other times it seems to rob us of what we desire and the enjoyment in life.

If we look upstream and from where our creative life energy we experience in our body originates, we find the intention for our life. If we look to the future and where it is flowing, you find a dream to unfold. It represents what we wish to manifest and experience in life. Aligning with, and surrendering to the flow of energy carries us to what we desire to create and the experiences we desire to have. Surrendering to the dream opens the door to aligning with the reason we came into this world for we align with the flow of energy that created and sustains our life. In doing so we align with the reason this flow ever started - that is, the intention and/or purpose that gives rise to our life.

The intention for our life as a dream within our heart (Top)

We say the dream is carried in our heart for two primary reasons. The first is because what we are here to do in this life is integrally tied to our creative passion that lies within the flow of our creative life energy. It is what gives us a passion for life and for living. It, in turn, allows the blood to flow though our heart as a result of the intention that created this energy flow.

The second reason it is described as a dream within our heart for we each carry it within the source of our being which is metaphorically the heart. In this regard, metaphorically our heart is used to represents five interconnected things. Or, maybe better said, the heart represent one thing which has five expressions or is perceived in five different ways when viewed from within Creation with a different perspective.

First, the heart can be seen as the residing place of our creative spirit. The heart is traditionally seen at what lies at the essence of one’s being as in the expression "it lies at the heart of the matter." Our creative spirit is at the heart of who and what we are.

Second, since energy and consciousness can creatively be seen as one and the same, this creative spirit is also representative of the source of the flow of our creative life energy. This flow of energy sustains us and provides the energy for all our creative endeavors. Within the body, the heart is what provides for the flow of our blood which supplies the nutrients to our body and sustains our body.

Third, the heart, as that pump for the circulation of our blood, is seen as what gives life to our body. In this regard, it is the perfect representation of the source of our life which is expressed as our creative spirit and/or flow of our creative life energy. Since the intention for our life is what caused our creative spirit to come into Physical Creation and created the flow of energy that sustains us, the heart is also seen as the intention for our life. In aligning with the flow of energy we feel deep within our heart, we align ourselves with this intention

The fourth thing the heart represents is that it represents a dream. It is a dream in several ways. We see it as something which we can feel as giving us great beauty in life but does not exist. It is something we must create and bring into the world. We dream about success, places to go, experiences to have. The dream within the heart is seen as such a thing. But it is something that often seems too grand and great to even believe is possible given the conditions we seem to face in life. It is also a dream in the sense that mind has no idea as to how to manifest it. It is something never experienced by our mind and our mind is at a loss as to fully understand how we could even being to create it. Within these perspectives, the desire to express the intention for our life and allow it to unfold in the world can be called a dream with the heart.

Also, there is a fifth which the dream within the heart represents. It represents the gift we are here to give. In living the dream in our heart, the intention for our life, we give the gift we incarnated to give. If we choose we can even explore to understand the origins of this gift.

An undercurrent of Creation (Top)

From a creativity perspective, the intention for one’s life is extremely important. It creates an undercurrent for our life and for our creative ability and creative power. To deny the  free flow of our creative spirit in any way denies the dream and its unfoldment. To deny the dream is also a denial of the primary aspect of our own creative power for the dream is related to the intention which gave rise to our life and gives rise to the creative power that sustains that life and is used to create with that life. If we do not access this dream and/or move toward manifesting that dream in some way, we will never experience our full creative potential for the dream/intention is the source of our life and our creative power and creative ability.

However, for most creative needs, accessing the dream of the heart is unnecessary. Usually we live the dream nonconsciously and that is sufficient for most of us. The time and place of our incarnation coupled with our early life experiences are usually sufficient to create the conditions to access the dream at a nonconscious level. It is when our mind enters the picture and we start listening to the outside world as to what is and isn’t important for our individual life that we loose focus and get off track. In this regard, the dream only becomes important for most when our overall life does not appear to be working, there is a deep inner dissatisfaction with life, one is driven to one or more significant addictive behaviors, and/or there is some kind of healing one seeks to obtain at some level of our being. The reason for this is that it was found that if we do not align consciously or nonconsciously with this dream/intention in some way we will never find an internally satisfaction no matter what we do and how successful we appear to be in life.

So what do we intent with our life (Top)

Two questions we all face are " "What do we intent with our life?" and "What is life really all about?" These are questions only we can individually answer. Many have their opinion and many teachers and authority figures will tell us what we should do with our life. However, we each have a reason for incarnating and an intention for our life, unique to our life. The intention for our life may be nothing more than to just have a physical experience. It may be to just to see what being physical feels like. Or, the intention for our life may be to have a particular physical experience for some specific purpose. It may be to create a new form of government or a new form of music.

No matter how we answer these two questions, the question we face is "Why access the dream within the heart?" Although each of must answer this question in our own way, some of the reasons that can be given are discussed in the topic, "Why access the dream within the heart?" In any case, if we choose to explore to find the intention for our life and/or look into our heart to find the dream within our heart, we will find that intention. In doing so, we find there is a clarity about what we need to do in life or with our life which comes in a knowing. However, what needs to be understood, the knowing is only accessible through feeling - the deepest feeling to which we can go for is encoded in our body and what it feels. In accessing the deep feeling which contains the intention for our life, we will find an awareness that we either created it ,or we agreed to experience it, at some level of our being for one reason or another. No one has forced us to be here. We are not victims. We are not a puppet on a string. We are only fulfilling some intent that we have created within our being.

How and why we have that intention is really irrelevant. We are here and from a creativity perspective it is recommended we allow the flow of energy that is guiding our life to fully dissipate in the experience we have. But what is very relevant about this dream or the intention for our life are four things. They are: it is the source of our current physical life, it is the source of our creative power, it is the source of direction for our life and it is something mind cannot fully understand. Each of these topics are address in the topics, "The intention for our life is the source of our current life," "The intention for our life is the source of our creative power," "The intention for our life provides a direction to our life," and "The intention for our life cannot be fully understood by our mind."

Unfolding the intention for our life (Top)

The intention for our life is the seed for that dream to grow and unfold in the physical world. When given the correct condition the creative spirit which is embodied within the flow of energy that sustains us, will germinate, grow and bear fruit much like a seed. To allow this dream to grow, we need to surrender to our body wisdom and intuitive guidance and allow our creative passion and the internal joy and bliss that arise from being in flow with our creative life energy to be our internal compass. In doing this, we allow this dream to lead us in ife rather than mind. It is an alternative way to live life as compared to the way most of us are taught to live

The fruit that comes forth is our gift which we give to the world. As our dream unfolds, we will bring a gift or gifts into the world. The gift or gifts are the fulfillment of our desire and the desire carried by the consciousness which created the physical reality and/or the collective consciousness that lies within the intention for our life. We each carry such a gift to give and, of course, the origins of this gift appears as that which lies within our heart and gives us a fullness of being and for life. Without the proper conditions, this dream lies dormant and never comes forth. Or, if it does, it does not reach full maturity. The question is, "What are the correct conditions for the intention for life to unfold true to itself?" The correct conditions for unfolding the intention for our life or the dream within our heart are discussed in the topic, "Conditions for unfolding the intention for our life"

If we don’t unfold the dream within our heart we will find that life is somehow feels unfulfilled. Although we may be tremendously successful in the eyes of the world we will find something is missing but we can’t put our finger on it. It is only in living the creative passion of our heart will we find an internal satisfaction that never runs dry and gives us a completeness to our life. If we feel in any way unfulfilled or as if there is more to live, we probably have been missing the dream of our heart. Although, many live the dream of their heart nonconsciously and the experiences of life never completely robs them of living their passion, most live the way they have been taught according to the judgments and opinions of their mind and have never permitted themselves to surrender and live in the creative passion of their heart. The easiest way to access and allow this dream of the heart to unfold is to be in a state of spontaneous and innocent childlike play of discovery and exploration and to do those activities that allow our creative passion to flow and allow us to be in our creative passion, and feel passion for what we do.

However, before we can unfold the intention for our life we must either access the intention for our life or surrender to the flow of our creative life energy.

Accessing the intention for our life (Top)

To access both this intention and the flow of the creative life energy that is sustaining and unfolding the manifestation of this intention, we need to step out of mind and beyond the thinking, judging, logical, analytical and enculturated mind and enculturated ego. If we try to "figure out" with our current mind the intention for our life will elude us and we will fail. We will fail because the intention for our life cannot be fully understood by our mind simply because the intention existed before our current mind existed and our current mind does not have the minimum set of experiences to understand this intention.

The key to stepping out of mind to access the dream in our heart, the intention for our life, is through feeling and what the body senses and the subsequent intuitive guidance that rises as a result of what we sense. If we are observant and discerning, they can feel the flow of energy within our being that gives us life and a passion for life. We can know by feeling whether or not the decisions or actions we take are supportive of our life and/or is in alignment with this flow of energy. Most do not become aware of this dream within the heart for a variety of reasons. In general, we are not open to the depth of feeling necessary to become aware of it for we are too preoccupied by the mind. Additionally, we often do not learn to discern if the energy that gives rise to what we feel arises from within our being or from without.

We can access this intention if we are willing to shatter our enculturated ego. However there is an easier way in becoming intimate with our creative spirit and surrendering to the flow of our creative life energy. In doing so, we can begin to understand this intention for our life. If we surrender to our creative passion and allow it to lead you where it may, although you may seeming jump from thing to thing without order, we will being to see a pattern that we can piece together that will give us a fairly good idea of what we are here to do. We need to explore no farther than that unless we choose to do so.

Our creative spirit and what it desires to create, holding our creativity sacred and being open to feeling is key to accessing both the intention for our life and the dream within our heart. Accessing the intention for our life is made much easier if we know how to access the wisdom of our creative spirit and routinely use the wisdom of our creative spirit in our life.

Our problem is most of us have been programmed by our enculturation to live other than the dream of our heart and/or the experiences we have lead us to make our decisions in life based on the external situation rather than our internal compass. In many ways the human physical experience is designed to take us away from our reason for incarnating. This of course gives rise to a paradox in the dream of the heart. Yet, in understanding the intention for our life what we will probably find is that we are more than willing to surrender our enculturated ego to live this passion that we have found for it gives a fullness of being and inner satisfaction that never runs dry.

In exploring the intention for our life and we pull the string as to "why" this intention for our life and "why me as opposed to another in this role?" we will begin to access information from two very interesting pedigrees. One is the pedigree of our body and the other is the pedigree of our consciousness. In accessing this information we can then understand how the intention for our life came to be and the gift we incarnated to bring.

To access the intention for our life most of us will need to set the intention and access it and then recreate our lives to live it. One way to pursue accessing the intention for our life is provided in the topic, "How to access the intention for your life - the dream in our heart - the business of our life."

A note of caution in pursuing the intention for our life (Top)

There is a note of caution about pursuing the intention for our life. The issues center around the fact that the awareness of the intention for our life lies in a deep feeling - one of the deepest feeling to which we can go.

The feeling which gives the awareness of the intention for our life, unfortunately, arises and comes through the body tending to enthuse the entire body. The feelings lie beyond the types and kinds of feelings which can arise in sex but are often similar. Consequently, because there can be sexual overtones when the whole body is enthused with the feeling of the business of our life or the intention for our life, most never see this knowing or use it for they get diverted by the sexuality.

Additionally, as the energy flows enthusing our entire body bringing life into the body, all the past issues of pain where we previously thwarted the free flow of our creative life energy and creative spirit will probably arise to be addressed. Hence one can expect some return to the pain of the past, especially the pain where we lost our ability to be in playful childlike play.

These types of issues are further discussed in the topics, "Awareness in what we feel" and "A note of caution in using an alternative way and the awareness which lies in feelings."
