Role of the masculine in a creative effort

The role of the masculine is our creative endeavors is two fold much like a double edged sword. It will cut either way it is held. It can be an invaluable asset in our creative endeavor or destroy our creative ability and rob us of our creative power to create what we desire.

The role of the masculine synonymous with the role of consciousness in the creative process. That is, it is to become the cause in the cause effect relationship in one of two ways - consciously or nonconsciously. Consciously using the masculine is to become the conscious cause of what we experience or to become a conscious creator. The nonconscious use of the masculine is to see ourselves at the mercy of some unknown force when we ourselves are the cause of what we are experiencing.

The conscious use of masculine role requires two things. One is to be aware of our thoughts, words and deeds and to use our free will to choose to strike out to create what we desire to create. The second thing is to be aware of the creative process and the function of the masculine and feminine in the creative process. That is, it is for the masculine to thrust out to create a desired creation but then surrender to the feminine and the flow of energy giving rise to the desired creation. The masculine must seek to create a safe and secure space so that the feminine is protect to fully nurture the desired creation and the desired creation is free to unfold true to itself.

The nonconscious use of the masculine role requires only one thing - that is, unawareness. Simply said, we are unaware of our consequences of our thoughts, words and deeds as to their consequence. Additionally, we have no idea as to the role of consciousness in the creative process and the need to surrender to the flow of energy giving rise to a creation so that the creation can unfold.

In regard to the masculine way to create, we can do so consciously or nonconsciously. Nonconsciously using the masculine way to create is to continually seek and look for the creation we desire. We do not surrender to the flow of energy giving rise to what we desire to create. Rather, we hold the intention which sustains the flow of energy to one degree or another but we continually divert the flow looking for our creation. In this regard, we can continually divert the flow in a organized and logical way much the way a scientist does their experiments seeking answer to how Physical Creation works. Or we can continually divert the flow in a haphazard way and stumble into our desired creation. The nonconscious use of the masculine way is to allow mind to lead our effort and what our mind thinks or believes it should do.

Consciously using the masculine way to create is a two step process. First we consciously choose what we desire to create and hold that desired intention as a single point focus. We then surrender to the flow of energy using our internal compass and intuitive guidance to guide us and use the mind to create a safe and secure space for the feminine to nurture the creation and for the creation to unfold true to itself. Consciously using the masculine way is it to have mind honor our intuitive guidance and figure out how to make it safe to manifest the intuitive guidance manifest in Physical Creation. We create a safe space to act on the intuitive guidance in a real physical experience or a surrogate physical experience as in a ritual or metatheatrics of some type.

The conscious use of the masculine way to create is really about learning the to dance. It is to learn the dance between the masculine and feminine in the creative process.

What is needed for the masculine to create a safe space

The mind is what fulfills the masculine role in the creative process and creating in the masculine way. However, mind is very reluctant to surrender to anything even its own inner feminine. The challenge mind faces is to surrender to do what is necessary to create a safe space for the inner feminine to express itself, birth and nurture her offspring for the duration of the entire creative effort. Usually only when mind is seeing it gets what it wants does it allow itself to surrender to either the inner or outer feminine. The challenge is for mind to come to understand the satisfaction it seeks only ultimately results when the inner feminine both safe and free to nurture her desired creation. How we develop the perspective for this to occur is unique to each of us. The recommendation here is to calibrate our internal compass and allow the feeling of the fullness of being to lead our life. That will naturally move us toward what our inner feminine desire to create and give us the inner satisfaction that mind ultimately seeks.

It is surrendering to the feminine to create a safe and secure space that we find an interesting paradox. We each need to develop a strong enough will and ego to be willing to do whatever is necessary to create the space for the feminine. However, to have the will and ego strong enough to do what is require often means that we are unwilling to surrender to do what is require for our mind loses control of what it needs to do and what it experiences. That is, the strong ego needed to create the space is the same strong ego that refuses to surrender. This is an ongoing struggle. One will never be free of the ego and its desire to be protected and in control.

How any one individual finds a way to develops that strong will and ego yet surrender to the flow of energy and what is required for the creation they wish to bring into the world will be unique to each individuals. What has been found to be most beneficial from a lessons learned point of view is for mind to realize what is seeks in life is ultimately what the inner feminine can give us if it is free to unfold true to itself. That is, we are free to become and express the truth of our being and our reason for incarnating.

In this regard, the easiest way to obtain this understanding appears to for the mind to focus inward to see what needs to be done to nurture both the inner feminine and the desired creation. Then thrust intuitively outward to meet those needs. Without an understanding of how our inner world works, the easiest way to look inward is to consult our own intuitive guidance and ask it present what needs to be done. Then honor the intuitive guidance we get. If we do not communicate well with our intuitive guidance or we feel our intuitive guidance is not what it should be, we can always use a guided meditation to access what we seek. We just need to remember the language of our inner world is often symbolic and what we get should or should not be taken literally. This also presents the issue that we will need to learn our own symbolic language to properly understand what is being communicated to us.

Understanding what the masculine needs to do

To understand what the masculine needs to do in a creative endeavor, we need to go to our intuitive guidance and ask, "What is the one thing can I do here and now, in the safety of this environment, to take that first step to create what I desire?" Or we can make it a general question, " "What is it that I need to do and/or need to become create what I desire?" Then act on whatever our intuitive guidance provides.

If we wish, we can create a guided meditation to assist us in the effort of going within. The "Sample guided meditation" can be use to create such a guided meditation. Or, the "Guided meditation - what action can I take" can be used.
