In the list of summary points on sexuality Point #12 stated: "The feminine can, and will, call out or pull out of the masculine things the masculine does not know it is capable of doing or which lies within."

Within the creative process it is the feminine which nurtures a creation. It is also the feminine which excites the masculine to thrust out and act to create. Here a very important note needs to be made. When discussing the feminine and the masculine, reference to the feminine is not a reference to the female or the role of a female for procreation or in society. Similarly, when reference is made to the masculine, reference is not being made to the male or the role of the male in procreation or in society. Reference to the masculine or the feminine is about their respective roles and functions in the creative process.

It needs to be realized that within each male and female is both an inner and outer masculine aspect and a feminine aspect. The inner masculine and inner feminine function in the same way in each individual. The inner masculine is about being able to live and be the truth of our being. That is, the inner masculine is about thrusting out in our own truth. The inner feminine is what nurtures our truth and excites the inner masculine to thrust out. In most individuals, the inner masculine is castrated such that we are unable to live our truth and be that truth in the world. Most are taught to meet the expectations of the external world at the expense of our truth. The inner masculine is castrated by how and what the mind comes to believe and the way we hold our creative spirit in the cage of our own making .

The outer masculine and outer feminine is determined by both how effective the inner masculine and inner feminine are functioning overlaid with the enculturation and experiences of life. If the inner masculine is not functioning properly the individual will most probably look for some masculine external presence (like an external authority figure) to give it what the inner masculine cannot give. If the inner feminine is not functioning properly, the individual will most probably look for some feminine external presence to give it what the inner feminine cannot give the inner masculine. These disfunctions are then overlaid with all the enculturation, beliefs and social roles of the what it means to be a male or female.

What needs to be understood is that a male or female can become more feminine than the inner feminine of another male or female to excite the inner masculine into action. That is, another can create the conditions to do for the inner masculine of another what their own inner feminine has not been able to do. This fact is reflected in the discussion, "A clients revealing dream."

Here an important note and comment needs to be made. Although another can excited the inner masculine of an individual into action without engaging in sex, sex can be used intentionally or accidentally to excite the inner masculine into action.

From the creativity perspective and as part of the creative process, the feminine can, and will, pull out of the masculine things the masculine does not know it is capable of doing. The feminine presence which call forth what is inside the masculine has been traditionally recognized as muse. Whether or not the feminine presence which calls forth the masculine wants to mate with the masculine it calls forth is another question. Whether or not the muse engages in sex with the individual, a true muse does not get trapped in the sex or sexuality. It will act only to create and nourish the flow of energy that is bringing life to the individual. The muse will not thwart the flow of energy but only catalyze it into action. The muse is simply a feminine presence that calls forth the inner masculine of our creative spirit to thrust out in the world in its truth.

In many way the masculine does not know what is inside of itself. It takes the feminine to pull out its essence. Creatively, the issue we face is to learn our truth and then live and speak that truth in the world. For most individuals, the energy and power to live and be our truth in the world is usually suppressed early in childhood by the world in which we grow up. As such most need to learn to access and live their truth. In most individuals it has been so long suppressed they do not know what it is or what it looks like. Although an individual is very successful in the eyes of the world that does not mean they are living their truth or even recognizing it.

Often someone or something is needed to call forth the creative spirit and there will be a passion to create as that creative spirit finds itself free to play. Frequently that passion to create includes sexuality. More often than not, the sexuality which arises from the passion to create and freely express oneself becomes confused with the individual who calls forth our creative spirit to create. That individual may or may not be someone with whom one can be sexual yet still remain creative free. It is not uncommon that the individual who calls forth the creative spirit is also the one who kills or deeply wounds the creative spirit they called forth. That in turn, requires the individual’s creative spirit to literally be resurrected and/or go through a long period of deep healing.

However, the reverse can also be true. Sex is about creating life. Sex is about creating deep feelings. Many individuals unknowingly look to sex to create life and to create the feeling of being alive. Although many do not realize it, what they are looking for is not in the sex but beyond the sex.. That is, the free expression of their creative spirit to create a life worth living

The deep feelings of sex tend to take us out of mind and mind loses control. When mind loses control some of the bars on the cage of our own making  fall away. It is then the creative spirit can begin to find some freedom to express itself. When the creative spirit awakens, mind may begin to see how it has denied the free expression of the creative spirit in the past. Here the individual sees a new life within their being. This new life within then seeks to recreate the life it lives to have a greater free expression of its creative spirit externally in the world.

If the focus of the individual goes to protect and foster the new life created within, the creative spirit will become active. If the focus is of the individual is on the sex, the creative spirit will not come out and it will become thwarted in its expression because of the desire for the sex rather than the life the sex creates.

Used intentionally, a safe and secure space would be created where an individual would be taken into the deep feelings which sexuality creates and then the energy which flows is directed back into the individual and the free expression of their creative spirit. Exactly how this is accomplished is beyond this discussion and requires a much deeper discussion about the creative spirit and the nature of sexuality that appropriate here. One can being to look into this area by reviewing the topics discussed in "Our Creative Spirit," and "Creative Sexuality."

However, most stumble into sexuality calling forth our creative spirit accidentally. That is, an individual engages in a sexual relationship where they feel safe and they feel, rightly or wrongly, that the other individual truly desires their unfoldment. In the deep feelings, there is an awareness in the feeling which arise. Usually the awareness is of one of two things. One is of long dormant aspects of one’s creative spirit that have never been free to be expressed because of the encultuartion and/or experiences of life. The other is how the free expression of their creative spirit was thwarted in the past.

If the awareness is about long dormant aspects of the free expression of one’s creative spirit, the individual will be lead to recreate their life based on that awareness. How much the individual’s life will need to change depends on the level of the awareness accessed. It is possible to have the Ultimate Accident and access the infinity of our being in and through sex intentionally or accidentally.

Here the issue becomes becoming trapped in sex thinking sex is what keeps the creative spirit alive rather than realizing it is the free expression of the creative spirit in life itself. If one cannot change their life for whatever reason and they still feel the desire to express the dormant aspects of their creative spirit, they can risk becoming addicted to sex. That is, they don’t change their life but continually go back to sex looking to bring the dormant aspects of their creative spirit out into a world which cannot support its free expression. The key here is to take the energy that arises in the sex and recreate one’s life where their creative spirit becomes free. In doing so, there is no issue in continuing to engage in sex as long as the energy is directed into create the free expression of the creative spirit and that the energy is not controlled by the individual’s mind or the mind and desires of the other. Rather it is about surrendering to the flow of energy and the life the creative spirit desires to create. To do this we need to be open to feeling and use our internal compass to navigate from the heart and follow the lead of our creative spirit/creative life energy.

If the awareness which arises is about how the free expression of the creative spirit was thwarted in the past, the issue becomes going back and revisiting the past. Whether consciously or nonconsciously realized, to have the past surface, there is a recognition that the response patterns that were created to protect the creative spirit in the past are being challenged in some way. Here there is often fear that the creative spirit will again be thwarted in some way with the possible experience of pain as the pain in the past.

If one is consciously aware that their response pattern is being challenged, they can consciously begin to explore how they need to respond and what can be done to make it safe for the creative spirit to freely express itself. However, if one is not consciously aware their response pattern is being challenged, they will experience fear to one degree or another and/or feel the need to protect themselves. Here they will withdraw. If they do not look at the fear and what was arising to deal with the fear, their creative spirit will remain in the cage they have created. However, if they are willing to pull the string as to why the fear, they will being to surface the reasons as to why they have the response that they do. In that awareness, the individual can choose to change or leave things as they are. However, if they refuse to change the creative spirit remains bound in the cage that was created to protect it

In any case, given the correct conditions, sex and the flow of energy it creates within ones’ being can awaken the creative spirit as to how it has been unable to freely express itself in the life it has been asked to live. The two main choices is to either allow the creative spirit to again become dormant and continue with life as it is or take the energy to recreate a new life where the creative spirit moves toward a great free expression. There also is a third option. It is to maintain the awareness that the creative spirit is bound and unable to be free to express itself but not change our world to have it become free. Here we will be faced with some level of pain. The question then becomes how do we face that pain when we are unwilling or unable to address the root of the pain
