The creativity perspective is a
perspective where creativity, our creativity, and the creativity of
others, is held sacred.
The creative perspective is a perspective from which to view life
that empowers our creative ability. The creativity perspective looks
to see
what serves or does not serve our creativity and look to create
a life worth living. Within the creativity perspective we look
for a way to view Creation where our creativity is unbounded and is
free to unfold true to itself. Of course, each of us will have to
spend some time exploring what our creativity looks like and how it
desires to express itself for its expression will be different for
each individual for we each are unique,
infinitely creative being. The
Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective is provided as a
way to understand how it is possible that we each are a unique
infinitely creative being.
The recommendation for your own life is to embrace an optimum
creativity perspective for yourself in a way that works for you
Why a
creativity perspective (Top)
Quite simply, the
mind which created the problem mind wishes to solve is not the
mind that will solve the problem. Yet the creativity that mind
seeks, which will provide the
desire solution, is held
captive
in a
cage created by mind. Hence becoming creative is about
learning
to unlock the cage which mind itself has created.
In this regard, we each have to “bite the bullet” so to speak. We
each have to embrace what we do not like and fear. We have to
embrace a perspective that will allow us to see differently. We will
have to embrace a perspective that allows us to create what we
desire regardless of what our ego likes and dislikes. We have to
embrace a the new perspective regardless of what our ego thinks
about that perspective and what that perspective requires us to do
or not do. The perspective we need to embrace obviously depends on
what we desire to create. If we wish to build a building, then we
need an engineering perspective. If you wish to fix a broken arm, we
need a medical perspective. If we wish to control a communicable
disease, then we need a social health perspective. If we wish to
create, we need the perspective of a creator.
The creativity perspective is a perspective where we to see and
understand how it is possible that we are the creator of the
experiences we have and the reality of those experiences. It does
not deny that there is a Creator of the world we experience which we
can call God if we choose. But it is to see that we are
creations
with a Creation and that we have a
free will. We are free to create
whatever we choose to create within the bound of Physical Creation.
There is no judgement on what we create. However, there are
consequences on our actions and what we create for the time and
place of our creation. If there were any judgement on what we create
we would not have a free will. We would not be free to choose and,
in many ways we would only be
puppets on a string.
The creativity perspective, where our creativity is held sacred,
will work in all situation to help us to get what we need. It is to
embrace the depth and breadth of our
creative power and creative
ability. It does not necessarily replace any other perspective we
hold. Rather allows us to step beyond any perspective we have to
create what we desire. We may only need an engineering or a
physician’s perspective or the like for a particular problem we face
and wish to solve. The creativity perspective will help us to see
and create the perspective we need.
There is an old proverb, “Give a person a fish, they eat for a day -
teach them how to fish and they eat for life.” So too creativity and
a creativity perspective. The creativity perspective is about
learning how to fish such that we eat for a life time. It is about
learning how to consciously create such that we can consciously
create our way into or out of any situation and/or experience we
desire. The creativity perspective will also help us to see and
understand what we need to do to get that perspective of the
specialist as the need arises.
What
exactly does a creativity perspective mean

Any truly creative endeavor takes
us into the unknown. To create is to bring into existence something
not previously seen or experienced or significantly different from
the past. Hence, a truly creative endeavor takes us outside our mind
for mind only knows what it has experienced. Any truly creative
endeavor will cause us to enter the unknown. It will cause us to
change how and what we think about the world we inhabit and how we
will live in that world.
The creativity perspective allows us to routinely go into the
unknown to get what we need to solve the problem we face and not get
lost or distracted by what we find in the unknown. It is a
perspective that allows us to “step out of mind.” It is a
perspective that allows us to move beyond the existing way we view
ourselves, our current situations, and the nature of the universe to
find the solution to address what we ultimately desire, not
necessarily what we think we desire. It is a view that will allow us
to regain control over our creative powers that we have given away
or we allowed to be taken from you.
Within the creativity perspective, the
creative process and our creative ability is protected or what
we could call, held “sacred.” To hold something sacred is to set
apart or dedicated to a specific function. Something that is sacred
is hallowed and entitled to reverence or respect. It is not to be
profaned and is inviolable. To hold creativity sacred and/or our own
creativity, or that of another, is to protect and address our
creative needs. All else is seen a malleable and can be changed to
protect and address those needs.
Saying creativity and our creative ability to create within the
creative process is protected means that we protects our ability to enter the
most creative state of being when the need arises and/or to
creatively play. Or, at least, move to a state of being that is
as close as possible to that most creative state. Additionally,
since most of us lose the ability to enter the most creative state
early in life, the creative perspective allows us to do what needs
to be done to regain the ability to enter the most creative state of
being. Within the creativity perspective, we protect what we regain
so we don’t lose that ability again. The easiest way to develop a
creative perspective is to ask ourselves “What do I need to do or
how should I approach life to hold my creativity sacred?” Then of
course, we will have to follow and
honor the intuitive guidance that we get.
In
holding our creativity sacred, we look to protect and preserve
the creativity we have. However, we also seek to continually to
expand and grow the creative ability we have within ourselves and
within another. We look to see how to become more effective and
efficient in our creativity and the creativity of others. One thing
about the creativity perspective is that we need to continually seek
to create beyond what we have created and the thinking which created
it. Otherwise we will be putting ourselves into
a cage of our own making by the limits and barriers we
consciously,
subconsciously or unconsciously impose on our creative ability
by thinking we have it.
The creativity perspective requires us to realize we are
infinitely
creative and whatever model, view or idea we have about how things
works ultimately limits what we can create. Any model or concept is
a two edge sword. On one hand, it gives us a safe context to create
what we desire to create. However, on the other hand, it is a prison
or
cage of our own making that keeps our creativity bound within
its limits of safety for it will keep us from entering the unknown
and move past the model to explore other models or understanding to
find one more creatively empowering. We will always find we can, and
will, create something more expansive and challenging. If not done
consciously it will be done subconsciously. The creative process
does not stop. It continues ad infinitum.
A creativity perspective is a way to view ourselves and our world in
a way that empowers us to move into the unknown and not become lost,
distracted, held captive by the past, or otherwise diverted from
their creative endeavor. If we study creativity and the
creation process, we come to see there is a myriad of ways and
reasons to become lost, distracted, held captive by the past, or
otherwise diverted. Since we enter the unknown we cannot begin to
prepare individually for all the ways that can arise that keep us
from creating what we desire. A creativity perspective looks more at
the
creative process and empowers us to reduce and even eliminate
the possibility of being diverted.
The creativity perspective is not a way or a method of creating.
Rather it is the ability to create whatever ability or view that we
need to create what we desire. There is no single set of concepts,
principles or rules that we can go to and point to say, “If I learn
these, I will have a creativity perspective.” Rather, it is about
seeing and observing how the principles, concepts, and ideas we
possess do or do not allow us to move into the unknown and address
what we need to face to create what we desire. A creativity
perspective is something that grows and evolves within our being as
we maintain focus and desire to become more creative and creatively
empowered.
In returning to the proverb, “Give a person a fish, they eat for a
day - teach them how to fist and they eat for life,” we have to go
were the fish are found if we wish to catch fish. To fish, we must
get the right equipment for what we wish to catch. Then we must go
to where the fish live. We can fish in the middle of the desert, but
we cannot expect to catch anything So too creativity. We must arm
ourselves with the correct tools and the go to
where creative ideas
are found if we hope to catch one. Then we must go to
where creative
ideas can unfold and give it the nourishment it needs and space to
grow and unfold true to itself. The creativity perspective allows us
to see how to do this for any situation we face.

Contemplating, digesting, arguing
with the concepts and ideas found on the Releasing Your Unlimited
Creativity
family of web sites will help to develop a creativity
perspective. You do not have to adopt any of the ideas presented on
these sites. Rather, it is recommended you just become very aware of
that which you agree and disagree and why you agree or disagree.
Then challenge yourself to understand if your “why” reflects the
truth of what is or is only an opinion of what you or someone else
thinks is true. Or, maybe simply you don’t know what is true.
To known that we don’t really know if what we think and believe is
actually true in every way is the first step in developing a
creativity perspective. To know there are exceptions to what we
believe allows us to be open to
stepping out of mind
and past what we think and believe. They provide the doorway into
the unknown and point the way to our
creative power and creative
ability for they lead out of
the box our mind has created. Embrace need to our beliefs whatever
they are but understand the beliefs we have may not be ultimately
correct for every situation we face.
