The infinity of our being refers to an experience of the fact that we are an infinite creative being as an individual aspect of the consciousness within, or behind, Creation as seen arising as presented in the Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective. Exactly how we experience the infinity of our being is unique to each of us. What we experience is determined by how and what we think and believe and the experiences we have had as discussed in the topic, "The Problem of Mind and the Experience of the Source of Creation - the Trap of Mind."

In experiencing the infinity of our being, some see God face to face. Others see through time and space. One of the more traditional descriptions and probably the most modern description is that provided by Jill Bolte Taylor when she experienced a blood clot in the left hemisphere of her brain in December 1996. The description she provided was that of an awareness within a sea of energy with no boundaries.

The essence of the experience of the infinity of our being is to know we can see through time and space by how we localize our awareness and our awareness is not body we inhabit. It is to come to understand we localize our awareness by how we focus our attention and awareness and we do so through how and what we think and believe and chose to act in life. It is to not be limited by the experiences we have had and it is to not define ourselves based on the experiences we have. Rather it is to move past the limits and barriers imposed by the human mind and to become open to all which Creation has to offer.

For those who try and obtain this experience, the mistake most make is that they try and have the experience in the way another has had it. That is to follow the path of another. However, it is necessary to find it in our own way for we each are a unique creation.

The easiest way to find the experience is to follow what gives us a feeling of expanding into the infinity of our being. The more we can follow that feeling we will be lead to a series of experiences which allow for us to experience the infinity of our being. However what we experience may or may not look like what any other has described. In fact, it is possible to not be aware of the experience when we have it. This is because our mind will either dismiss the experience as a fantasy or try and characterize the experience in a way that it understands such that we limit the meaning of what we experience. The problem of mind is that it is finite trying to describe the infinite. To know the experience for what it is we need to let go and be out of mind when we have the experience. That is, we need to be in what we feel and feel the experience and allowing our awareness to be that of a detached witness simply observing without judgment or expectation. That is to just be in the experience as it occurs.

The recommendation here is to not try and have the experience. Rather it is to live our life moving as much as possible into the feeling which has been described as the feeling which: is experienced as: an expansion of our life/being; that which give us life; being in a state of wonderment and "ah;" provides a fullness of being; is experienced as a freedom within our being; provides a passion for life; provides a passion to engage life; is experience as a blossoming or flowering within or of our being and/or is experienced as an inner satisfaction which never runs dry no matter what is happening in the external world. In dong so, we simply stumble into the experience as part of our life for we are never separate from the infinity of our being. Mind only creates that illusion that we are.

The easiest way to be out of mind and step into what we feel is to become lost in the feeling of a truly creative endeavor. The creative endeavor, by its very definition, takes us into the unknown and outside of mind. To become lost in the feeling of the creative endeavor is to allow what we feel to guide our actions. It is to move toward that spontaneous and innocent childlike play of moving to what feels expansive in the moment as we create. Here, in this way of being - outside of mind moving with what we feel - the doorway is open for an experience of the infinity of our being. We only need to remain detached to watch and observe as we have the experience. However, for most, mind will jump in because of the fear of what it is being experienced and/or the fear that it is losing control.

The only antidote to mind and the fear which gives rise to mind stepping in thwart the experience that has been found is for mind to know that it must die and for mind to choose to die. We must die before we die to experience the infinity of our being. The antidote is for mind to come to understand the awareness which gives rise to mind is everlasting and cannot not die. It can only transform. It is the mythical Phoenix which can choose to destroy itself and rise from its own ashes born again anew. Mind must chose to destroy itself to become that mythical Phoenix and rise from its own ashes.

The question for each of us is, "What do I need to do to die before I die?" The answer is unique to each of us. We cannot follow the path of another. We can use the wisdom and lessons learned of others but our path will be unique. But how our mind must die is unique to us.

Based on what seem to work best for most, the recommendation is to obtain a perspective and set of beliefs about life that support the understanding that the awareness of the mind is unlimited and everlasting and is fully capable of transforming itself. Then, begin a series of creative “not doing” practices as much as possible in spontaneous and innocent childlike play. If "not doing"  s too challenging, then create, or do, a series of exercises that allow one to probe and push past the limits and barriers within their creative imagination. Then, as one steps past the limits and barriers of the mind create rituals, ceremonies, metatheaters and/or other creative endeavors that allow us to bring into some type and kind of physical form what we find lies beyond the limits and barriers of our mind which we break through.

What needs to be understood, experiencing the infinity of our being is an experience. We will feel it and it has feeling. It is not a mental exercise. It cannot be obtained through books and mental exercises. It cannot be obtain through what mind thinks. Mind only knows the past and what it has experienced. We must be doing and being the experience to have the experience. In essence we must some how be the infinity of our being to have the experience of the infinity of our being. The more we are out of mind in a truly creative endeavor feeling the experience and surrendering to where the flow of energy of the creative endeavor is carrying us like a child in spontaneous and innocent play at discovering and exploring their world, the greater the chance and opportunity of experiencing the infinity of our being. All that keeps us from experiencing the infinity of our own being in any moment is our mind and nothing else. And it does need to be noted that being in the moment in the infinity of our being we access the point of our greatest creative ability and creative power and to see and to know..
