We are infinite beings of infinite creativity, each an aspect of the consciousness within, or behind, Creation. As such, it will take an infinite number of experiences to experience the true depth and breadth of our uniqueness.

Consciousness defines itself by the experience it has. When consciousness separated itself into individualized points of consciousness as discussed in the Creation Story for the Creativity Perspective, in that moment, each point was the same and had the exact same potential for each was unaware and un-awake. Since each possessed a free will, and each was unaware and un-awake, each was identical and equal in that moment. Each possessed the capabilities to be totally unique unto themselves and find its true identity through that uniqueness. Or, each could make itself a copy of some other consciousness that it experienced and define itself as it tried to copy the world in which it found itself.

What most of us do in life is try and define ourselves by copying the world in which we find ourselves. Then we are puzzled when we seem unfulfilled and that something is missing. We living in accordance with what we are taught and learn in life. Few of us look to our own uniqueness and the energy that flows within our being to define who and what we are.

This deep inner longing is our consciousness longing for itself. It longs for the free expression of its own creativity. It is addressed by creating something of intrinsic value to us and creating a life worth living that fits our uniqueness. It is something that gives a fullness of being and makes one fulfilled in life and is often accompanied by a feeling of expansiveness as we expand into the fullness of our own being - a infinitely creative being.

What needs to be realized, because of the uniqueness of each individual and the way each individual can call forth a different aspect of our being, there are certain experiences we cannot have unless certain people enter our lives. Because we each are unique, there are experiences we can only get from a specific other and there are experiences only we can give. If we don’t have those experiences, we feel something is lacking in our life.

Analogously, in the way a particular color has a variety of shades which come close to that particular color. Many individuals can give us an experience which is a close approximation to that of a particular other. In fact, it is the experience a particular other can gives us which gives rise to the concept of a soul mate. However, this is true for every aspect of Creation. It all depends on what we desire to experience by how we have focused our attention and awareness to see that uniqueness of what we call the soul mate. However, the fact that many others can give us an approximate experience of that provided by a particular other does not negate the uniqueness of the experience that particular other can give us.

The greatest impact of the fact a particular other is the only one who can give us a particular experience is when that particular experience is part of the intention for our life. That is, the experience of a particular other is one of the reasons for our incarnation. In this case, no matter how close the experience of others are to the particular desired experience, the experience others give us, no matter how close to the desired experience, these other experiences will always leave us with a particular after taste that something is missing. Some how, in some way, we did not have the experience that is fulfilling. The flip side to this problem is the fact that we will pursue another to obtain this particular experience such that others do not understand our drive or passion. To other we appear a little crazy if not possessed by and irrational desire for another or a particular type and kind of experience. Others do not understand the passion or the desire for their life path does not have such a milestone.

In any case, to have what will fulfill us and create both a life worth living and provides us with a deep inner satisfaction as we move thorough life, we need to be open to what is offered to us. But, most of us have been enculturated to follow a path that is given to us by our care givers and society rather than attending to the business we come to do, that is, fulfilling the intention for our life.

A second aspect to our uniqueness is often we will feel pain and loneliness. This pain and loneliness has two parts. The first part is the loneliness in the awareness of our own unique being. The second aspect is and how much we are not allowed to express our uniqueness within the experience we are having. We can experience these two aspects to pain and loneliness separate or together.

The pain of our uniqueness as a unique being takes us to the ultimate pain we face. The antidote to this pain is to enjoy the experiences we have and become like the wind. We need to desire with all our passion and all our heart as a drowning person desires air. Yet, we cannot be attached to expectations or attached to what we experience. Rather, we must be like the wind - coming with nothing and leaving with nothing - and fully savoring the experience as it is had.

The second pain and loneliness we face tends to be very local to the environment we face. To have an experience of creation/Creation, we need to lose ourselves in the experience of the creation/Creation and forget how we created the experience. However, within the experience of the creation/Creation in which we find ourselves we tend to define ourselves by the experiences we have and frequently denying who and what we are. If we remain in the identity we give ourselves based on those experiences rarely do we experience this pain and loneliness. However, if we begin to awaken to our true identity in some way and cannot leave how we have defined ourselves, we will deny an aspect of our being and our creative ability and/or creative power in some way to remain in the creation/Creation and feel pain. To alleviate the pain, we will desire to create something which will better serves our new awareness and who and what we are discovering about ourselves. If we are unable to do so for whatever reason, we will not alleviate the pain. If we do not face this pain and figure out how to recreate ourselves or our world, we will be drawn to deny the pain, suppress it or numb it in some way. In denying, suppressing or numbing the pain runs the risk of creating a addiction or addictive pattern in some way.

As a being of unlimited creativity, the best way to address this pain and loneliness is to become a conscious creator and recreate our life.
